hkmaly is exactly right. Clark was probably the easy target this night because he was the one to arrive late (thanks to the delays caused by Little Boy Boom's escape mentioned in first strip). Plus, as the guys all seem to agree, Clark has the least luck with women, so he'll always be the butt of jokes when women are involved.
Well, if the one who ends up embarrassed is always the same one, THEN it wouldn't be healthy relationship. Bud we have no proof for that yet. If they sort of takes turns ...
anonymous, where's this "abuse" your talking about? I see playful teasing, but no abuse. Almost as bad as people who complain about Spartan Palmer telling the Master Chief "I thought you'd be taller" in Halo 4, instead of treating him with some divine reverence, or something.
This sums up how my buddies and I used to be when we hung out; we'd rip on each other a lot, which could be embarrassing but was never malicious. But when it came down to serious things, we knew we could count on each other.

Don't know why Clark hangs out with them. They're probably actually nice, but so far I haven't seen them do anything but abuse him.
