Due East - Book 4 Page 22

Here it is, the last page of Book 4! We wanted to end this story on a positive note, while still not leaving out that Crystal will not be happy about her daughter's conversion. We'll come back to that soon enough.
We will be starting Book 5 soon and I'm happy to announce that we will have a helper. JustNoPoint (The Devon Legacy) will be assisting by doing the colors in Book 5. It's not that I don't enjoy doing the colors (I do!) but JNP offered to help keep Due East on a regular schedule and this will go a long way towards that happening!

This looks very good. I definitely noticed the color changes you made. You should keep pushing your boundaries art wise and see where they take you. What a fitting end to a chapter. Your wrapped it all up pretty nicely. It's like a movie. :) A+ work as always, Allen.

Ah, there are worse things to have to confess to parents! ;-) Oh, and hang on to JNP! Chain him to a radiator or something! Finding a good colourist is never easy!

That's because JNP is just so darn experimental, adventurous, and dynamic when it comes to hooking up color! Good to be back and reading my faves! So much catching up to do but thus far, looks like excellent storytelling and art as usually here at DE!

That will be a cool collaboration - can't wait to see the results! The shopping center at the end looks like the place on the Drag, a bit down the street from I Love Video. Um...can't remember what's in it though. Used to have a hot dog place. Anyway. Cool city scape - I might be biased, but it looks great!

Ah, I am so jealous! JNP colouring is just amazing! I am sure he'll keep to your style in that way he has :D Good end here! I wonder what will anger Crystal more- that Brielle converted (I don't like this word, sounds like someone is being brainwashed, and that is NOT what a true religious person is) or that she did it all despite the pressure not to?

Awe. That's a sweet page -- with a nice "real life" sort of tension at the end. Telling people certain things is one of the most anxious moments that we all have to face. I'm so jealous that you have an excellent helper. Keith is just so full of helpfulness; isn't he? ^_^ I hardly ever color, but it is completely exhausting and time-consuming (for me anyway :-P ).
