003. Doorology

I could come up with a couple dozen “door gags” easily, but five fit well, and these were my most vivid/clear images. Maybe later I'll do another door strip. ~_^
After this strip I need to go over the notes I wrote in church (yes, I scripted this stuff during sermons. I am a heathen) to decide on what to draw next. The first three strips are in order but the others are all stand-alone and orderless. I'll probably pick something easy to draw while I continue polishing up this style.

I may have to show you later. @patrick: I know Ornithology because it was one of my favorite courses. The other one, I stumbled across by accident. My original idea was to make it a Physics door and draw "trap door" lines in the floor. @DAJB: They do work well for a quick laugh. ;-)

Tee hee! I imagine door jokes could very easily become an internet meme (have I used that particular buzzword correctly?) They're like a visual equivalent of "knock knock" jokes!

Haha, that's awesome! The urology reminds me of a comic I saw one time that had these receptionist just dying of laughter as the one on the phone was saying, "Urology department - please hold." ^.^
