Page description:
Finally catching up to her tank column, Pinky finds herself overwhelmed by the dust and smoke kicked up in their wake, so that she's unable to ride atop the cupola any longer. She duck inside and shuts the hatches, followed by a shower of grit. Deciding to rely totally on Collin's driving skills, she looks to assuage the boredom of the coming hours with a friendly card game.
Commentary:
Hmm, I got bogged down with details Drawing interiors is fun, but you have to know what exactly fills the inside of a tank, AND were it all is. This tank is pretty big inside. ^_^
The difference in colouring is always a pain too: bright and harsh VS dull and subdued. It's a pain.
Extra:
I go for Jury duty tomorrow! So I may not even have a rough page ready to go on Wednesday…
THat's Pinky's current outfit, see the a few more pics of her in it in my Pinky Gallery.

things always seem smaller within something when you look (which seems huge) at it from the outside. And good job with the dialouge flow. Very funny, very real.

Wonderful page. I will have to go catch up now. Simply impressive.

haha this page is hilarious! Great work Ozone. I'm a big fan of serious comic work, but I love it when the story doesnt take itself too serious (hmm..come to think of it, there's no gags in my comic..o ooh) Anyways brilliant work! Stinky and pinky :D

Bugger, sorry for taking so long with this -_- Ok Replies!!!! Mr Riot- Thanks man! ^_^ Silus- Yes indeedy I do! I didn't used to, but things were always moving that way. Now that the scanner's buggered I don't have a choice. Lothar- Hahahahahahaha! :P Nik- What's that Nick? Green tan- Yah, They're my fave part of the uniform too! I think they're generally called Gaiters" though, unlike the more civilian spats, or "Spatterdashers". They can also be called anklets... I've got a pair of my grandfather's from WW2, but they have brass hooks and cord. Zac!- Hahaha! If you don't need them, then thank all the glorious drawing gods Zac! The way I do things is a long way... Looking at the final scene here I just should have used a yellow gradient under a grey shaded 'multiplied" layer, but no! I had to go and paint it all in... Aeon- Woot, a new viewer ^^ Ha! I think gaiters, spats, whatever need a comeback! Iago- It did not you mad pirate captain! ham- Sometimes I do other things, but it's rarer these days... Pinky TA is good for driving my creative energies. Plus, I'm always too lazy to get out the art materials and set them all up... You know how it is. All the watercolours, pastels, acrylics, whatever.. Simon- Ahhhhhhhhh! Less scribly now though eh? Auroa- Thanks Aurora! I really need to add more pics to that gallery...

Awesome page as always. I really dig the art and the story so far! Good luck with the jury duty.
silus at 2:34AM, Nov. 19, 2006
Do you do the whole thing beginning to end on the computer then?
lothar at 4:45AM, Nov. 18, 2006
i enjoyed the 4 frames where she is looking around, and the angry looking dude in the bottom corner !
Nick at 5:58PM, Nov. 17, 2006
Nice... and I really gotta suggest a star by your favorite comics if you only get a chance to log on and look around for more than 4 minutes, one day a week. ::eesh:: Looking good, sir.
Green_Tangerine at 11:03AM, Nov. 15, 2006
Wow, gorgeous work on the tropical uniform! Some of my band cadets have to wear spats like that for drumming, but they don't have those beautiful brass buttons unfortunately.
Zac at 8:06AM, Nov. 15, 2006
yo, I enjoy watching your rough work and inbetween phases. It's like a magical thing to see it all come together. I wish I knew how to have inbetween steps.
Aeon at 7:17AM, Nov. 15, 2006
Cool to see how you work. The spats on Pinky's uniform totally rule me.
iagojester at 5:33AM, Nov. 15, 2006
heh heh heh... this looks better than most of my finished pages, ya big jerk!
Hamorhage at 5:07AM, Nov. 15, 2006
You're sketches are amazing ozone. I can seee you fit right into fine art. Are you still making personal work meanwhile? Like paintings and such? Or are you fully down with Pinky now? We are anyway :D
simonitro at 3:27AM, Nov. 15, 2006
Scribble-y but nice!
Aurora Moon at 10:43PM, Nov. 14, 2006
