Great panel. Er page. My first impression was that he was tangled in a tree somehow with his feet -- I had to look twice and then got a "wow cool" moment. Her reaction is great too.

Well, Margsensen is.. Margensen lol. Since he's mostly.. well.. plant, I don't think he'd be too bothered to be called he or she. ;) And his hair falling out in the winter would be hilarious, but sadly, no. xD

The tree shifter is male? Oh sure. I can tell your main character is a woman, but not that the person who turns into a animated vine is a guy. Does Margensen hair turn grey and fall out in the winter and grow back and be green in the spring?
