Whew! Finished this at 12:30 AM Friday because some people (I'm not naming names) didn't finish their share of the page until 10:30 PM!

I don't think Ronson is in anyway impressed by this. Gods cannibalizing gods to have sway over mortals? It's like selecting a President based on how many of the other candidates they could eat.

Hephaestus reminds me of the techno-mages in "Mage: The Ascension", who outpowered all the other types of mages, thereby making technology the 'natural' order of the world. Or so people have told me. Never read any of the game books. And I didn't read all the previous comments either, so if it's already been mentioned... meh. :-)

I like the fact that you can still see the pentagram that they are standing in. also no one seems to have noticed them. I guess they could be invisible to the mortals, or they may not even actually be thereÃ¢â¬Â¦ hmmm. Somehow I doubt that Hephaestus really knows much if anything about Ronson. I wonder whatÃ¢â¬â¢s going to happen next, but until then IÃ¢â¬â¢m also looking forward to reading the short story that will be put online for us.

Ronson looks less-than-enthused. Nice counterpoint to HelmetGuy's enthusiasm. Ronson can't shake being the God of Apathy after all. This break might be a good time for me to go back and reread the trade paperbacks!

So Hephaestus and his buddies (who I can only presume are all hacker technophile types) are generally bopping around earth having a ball with technology and technophile parts of the world? Somehow that just fits nicely.

I was hoping for something of a bright flash and a loud zing before they got to wherever they were going, but seeing the destination like this works too. Wow, whatta punch to the gut! :) Very impressive page, especially Ronson's expression. It captures a rather speculative look that I think most readers will have on their own faces at this point. And I don't think a single short story in-between the next issue will hurt us, other than allowing rabid speculation to run insanely rampant. I look forward to hearing about one of the characters who doesn't get quite as much comic time. :)

Hi all! All right, let's address a few things that were mentioned yesterday... Apparently, the coordinates listed on the previous page put them off the coast of Singapore. This means that the site I used to get the coordinates was off. BUT, let's use our imagination and pretend that this area is perhaps on an as yet unbuilt island in the water. That'd work, right? Trust me, this is nonessential to the story. Okay, I'm going back to working on the next issue. Enjoy the short story that starts on Tuesday. I think you'll like it!
