Strip VII: Sunny Days

Ah, Levana: the original social distancing queen! Yeah, that first panel may or may not have become something of meme back when the COVID-19 pandemic was first rearing its ugly head . . . but, let's not even think about that, shall we?

Anyway, this was based on another suggestion that Marie had pitched to me: allowing Levana to step outside during the daytime, so long as she has some really good, solid protection from the otherwise fatal UV rays . . . with that said, here's Levana's protection! Yeah, I pretty much bundled her up as much as I could just for laughs; I mean really, unless you're over 90-years-old and have no blood (well. . .), who could even stand going out on a hot, sunny day dressed like that?! She's sweating so much, she's leaving a trail behind her! Yeesh!

Also, remember back when I mentioned in my note on the previous strip my friend Kevin Magpoc's comic, IDGet? Well, that's IDGet himself walking through the park holding a balloon - I had decided to give him a little cameo, why not? Kevin hasn't updated IDGet in a long time, but if you like slice-of-life comics that feature existential imaginary friends, with corny humor, occasional satire, a mostly gag-a-day format but also random storylines, then I suggest you check out IDGet for yourself! The comic was published on KeenSpace/Comic Genesis from 2001 to 2012, before that site apparently borked itself, and Kevin moved it to ComicFury in 2013.
