Strip XV: Levana's Procedure

Yeah . . . Vampire Hunter and Goofy Idiot Sidekick dying in such a manner seems ridiculous, doesn't it? It was actually something of a strange homage to an old ARTHUR fandub on YouTube (that has since been nuked for copyright) of the episode “The Half-Baked Sale,” in which Mr. Morris the janitor basically met the same fate of dying at the hospital from complications from a fall, much to the indifference of Arthur and D.W.
Actually, there was a different version that was originally conceived for this, in which the two of them actually do penetrate the hospital and subdue Levana, but while Vampire Hunter holds onto her, Goofy Idiot Sidekick can't shoot her, because he can't figure out how to turn the safety off, which prompts Vampire Hunter to show him how, allowing Levana to slip away. Once the safety is turned off, Goofy Idiot Sidekick accidentally shoots the Holy Water into Vampire Hunter's mouth, drowning him. Goofy Idiot Sidekick himself later dies down in the cafeteria, because he didn't know hospital food kills on contact.
Still just as ridiculous, but either way, they're out of the picture now; they clearly had no business being in this business of theirs anyway.
Well, Levana has finally undergone this magical/medical procedure to make her mortal; guess we'll see what the outcome of the procedure reveals after her condition has stabilized.

So we can b positive that the two died in vein and that it wasn't a type0? (sorry) Found this comic a few moments ago and now it's on my favourite list.

The comic has revealed that Levana is a Universal recipient! I watched that aardvark show growing up, but I have no recollection of the Mr. Morris episode or its hilarious title. That was such a sudden loss of two characters, but they could possibly return in another form because a comic with vampires can also have zombies.
