I'm not going to babble much here, because Zac usually does a much better job of making the Author's Comments a bit more of a news post.

Speaking of news post, did you see the Civil War was the first item in the news post on the main page? It's all thanks to YOU guys for making this one hell of a fun community project! All the “Civil War Events” that Zac and I have been recieving are awesome! Be sure to keep posting them over in the forums!

Remember, everyone try to keep it clean enough for a broad audience. We want everyone to be able to read everything submitted!

Here's another reminder and it's important: We want to print this when it's through. Yeah. Print it. We want to put people's pages in the printed copies. SO.
While we do accept sprite comics into our event, PLEASE TRY TO MAKE YOUR SPRITES AS ORIGINAL AND NONCOPYRIGHTED AS POSSIBLE. This isn't us hating on Sprite comics, this is just a need to not get in trouble later on ^_^. So when you're doing your sprite events, make sure your characters and sprites are original. Try not to just do a simple recolor. If you're not sure if your sprite character design is bordering on dangerous, just PM us and ask ^_^. So far we haven't had any trouble with sprite designs, just letting you all know :D
Black Kitty reminds us to make pages at 300DPI for print.
This is just an IDEA we've had. We'll have to find someway to actually do it later on.

Remember new people YOU CAN JOIN. Just throw the join request in the correct team roster thread :D

Besides that, we've had a great turnout! We're working on the Checklist template now. So event comics should be up soon!
