N_Y_Japlander is actually American but has being living in Japan for a while.

Once every couple years I fly back to visit my host family from when I was an exchange student in Yokohama. But I'm not from Asia so I guess I can't really qualify.

I wasn't born in Asia, but my mom was. She really wants to take me to S. Korea someday (since she goes there to visit her friends). It'll be hard for me, since I need to learn the language. I actually got to the point where I can read Korean! …But I can't understand it. Pointless? Maybe. It's a start.
