It is in my opinion that ALL actions should be mention in the nar. Detective, Medic, Mad Bomber and so on and so forth should be mentioned in the narrative. That is how the vast majority of games have been and should be. Any change should be announced before hand and not sprung up in mid game.

Could someone tell me some about the Mafia Games? I'm getting real confused, but from what I've gathered It's like a role-play, and that seems cool. I got some cool characters, and If It's one that you use yourself for that also works. But I just am so confused, where do I post to join? Is this a private thing? Please help, sending a message for help, hoping that someone will see it, but even more so, bother helping.

BASICS
Drunkduck Mafia is based off of a real life party game. Mafia is about two sides, Townies((good)) and Mafia((bad)), competing to take over Townston((Imaganary Town where all mafia's take place)). Townies do not know who each other are. But the mafia do know who each other are. This is due to the fact that mafia are out numbered by Townies.

There are different roles and powers that come with both sides. You use those powers by PQing the GM((Who we elect before each game)) and telling them what power you wish to use and to whom you wish to use it on. At the beginning of the game the GM will PQ everyone their role((roles are random)).

The game is brooken up into two 24 hour cycles called Night Cycle and Day Cycle. At the end of each cycle a narrative is given by the GM. During the Night mafia use powers to kill townies. Clues are left behind for some actions((like killing)). These clues are based on comics, profile, sig, avi of the person.

During the Day Townies try to solve these clues and vote to lynch someone. Lynching works like powers you just send a PQ to the GM saying who you want to lynch. Everyone gets a lynch vote, even mafia.

The game ends when either all mafia are dead or all townies are dead. Then a new election is held for a new GM and a new game is started.

And there is some slight role playing between actions to keep us from being bored.

I will re-post my sign up sheet later (once I'm done rewriting it (grumble)) but everyone else who had signed up have to do so again in case I didn't catch them. I remember that Niccea, D_dude, 1337 master and rokulily had already signed up so they don't have to.

And Niccea is a she, monkey. We only need to be gender neutral during the narrations :P

But I like the neutralness. Can't a person make a mistake everyonce in awhile and not be slammed by spelling nazis?! I swear they are the biggest threat to America right now XD

Never tried the Mafia game, but I will eventually. In the meantime I'd like to suggest a possible game… the Office Wars. I'm sure this theme is a common one found in forums. Basically the Boss has some goal for the people working for him in the office in mind… a bigger paycheck, a raise in status (as far as the workers go… from working as a direct assistant for the Boss resulting in a bigger paycheck to having his/her own office, etc..). Of course, he decides that in order to find out who is “worthy”, everyone will go to war using their smarts and inventiveness to create weapons out of the various office supplies in their workplace. And the survivor(s) get the prize.

Well, I'd talk more… too bad I go to work in a few minutes.
