Technically, no. However, at night, he can only be harmed if he is attacked 3 times in a row, and the third person who sends a PQ to attack will receive the kill.

Think of it this way. The mayor has two bodyguards (not players) that can block one person to attack. If one person attacks, one “bodyguard” will block him. If two people attack, the two “bodyguards” will block both of them. If three people attack, the first two will be blocked, but the third person will have the chance to attack the mayor. However, at that point, the mayor's role would kick in, so he could still live if he were a veteran/paranoid/etc.

Also, this means that the third person who attacks the mayor will also have clues pointing to him while the first two attackers won't.

However, an easier way to kill the mayor is to just try to get him lynched.

my questions remains unanswered, depending on were you've been sending your minions you could have an explaination for the dead bodys on 42nd. and your minions creating a box-BOT could explain the wierd ass crate I've seen chugging around at night.

but the box the bodies were around didn't have anything mechanical in it at all (all it contained was a dead cat) and most of the bodies died from bullet wounds and my box-mech has a missle launcher. O_o It appears there has been murder most foul and the game hasn't even started yet.

I don't think the box-mecha even has an ai program let alone one sophisticated enough to kill people on its own, the rubbish bin robo on the other hand.

no seriously my box-mecha is essentially my box with a ton scrap attached although I could go out on a limb and speculate about the origions of the dead squirell-mecha ‘cos I certainly didn’t build that, just found in the junkyard.
