The citizens of townston gathered in the square to declare their leader. “Who would it be?” they wondered. Though everyone had cast their votes, the answer was still yet to be decided. It was then that the town secretary stepped up to the podium, and pulled out the shoe box everyone had put their votes into.

“Well, this is a shock,” she began. “It looks as if we have a tie for mayor.”

A look of confusion spread across the gathered populous, and people looked from one side to the other to see if their neighbor had any more of a clue as to what would happen next.

“Well, who's-” one townie began, but his words were cut off as the ground exploded in a tumult of dirt, sod and coffin fragments. A decomposed, shriveled hand brushed a tattered, worn suit as Zombie Lincoln stepped from his grave. The townsfolk stared, transfixed as this walking abomination strode forth to the podium with all the purpose and conviction of the world.

“Friends, Romans, Countrymen,” he began, “It is with great honor, that I accept the role of-” Zombie Lincoln's head then burst into peach colored confetti as a 12 gauge shotgun's barrel cooled. Niccea lowered her weapon and swept the crowd with cold, unforgiving eyes.

“Anyone have any complaints?” she demanded, and no one dared speak up. “YOU!” she added, motioning at The Flying Green Monkey. “You're now my pardoner.” Not wanting to die, he obliged.

A new day has dawned and a new administration has been set in place.

Niccea has been elected mayor, and TheFlyingGreenMonkey is pardoner!
