You will be very unlikely to create an acronym from random letters, since acronyms are PROPER words where each letter is made to stand for something.
Like: C.A.T. (Center for Alternative Technology)
Letters that stand for something and yet DO NOT spell out a word are called "Initialisims". A good example of an initialisim is: U.S.A.
