I like the current one. He looks much more jaded and mature. That one just looks kind of silly and childish. I'm not sure that's the kind of image Platinum wants the site to have.

looks like a drunk PYSDUCK to me instead of a “real” cartoon duck. in other words, it's very….pokemon-ish.

Well, he does look more drunk than the current one. Also, I don't like the look the first one is giving me, it's like me knows my inner most secrets, and has a tape of me humping a chicken for blackmail purposes.

Even though I have never had my way with a chicken, honest.

i dont like the childish looking of the one from this thread….but our current mascot looks more like a “dr. cox” duck than drunk…..like he's just waiting for me to slip up, so that he can call me, sarah, julie, mary or fes….

I actually like that the current version doesn't look obviously drunk and just kind of has that mean-spirited look and what appears to be bags under its eyes. I know I've seen a lot of drunk guys in bars that looked exactly like that.

You should make a contest! Picture this: people could be able their own drunk ducks (some drunker than others) and the winner gets… er… the prize is not important. It could be a nice way to salute the site's mascot.

The real Drunk Duck needs to be more belligerent and sloppy… like Daffy… maybe. Spitting while trying to make his inaudible and convoluted point heard, dialated pupils, and staggering to a degree all the while rubbing up against Quail inappropriately.

The poster is on the right path.. they just need to work on the subtleties.
