If you read nothing else, go have a look at last place comics (it is wonderfully evil) and Story of the Robot (possibly the most heart warming comic drunk duck has to offer).
I don't know if these comics are well known or not, but they really should be!

Here's an interesting one. I picked up on Spitfire when it first started here at DD and then I lost sight of it for some reason. Just rediscovered it today!
It's a WW2 story but without any of the over-the-top Sergeant Rock type of action-heroics that normally typify that genre. Instead, it's a thoughtful little tale in which British fighter pilots and German soldiers question the killing they're called upon to do.
That ought to be enough to make Spitfire an interesting read in its own right, but what makes this very European story even more intriguing to me, is the fact that it's drawn (and very well drawn!) in a Japanese manga style. The manga stylngs mean that all the characters look very young (barely more than children) and whereas this can be a hindrance to the enjoyment of some manga comics, here it emphasizes just how young many of the combatants were.
Definitely one to check out!

A WW2 fighter pilot, a First Century warrior queen and a prehistoric shaman. Oh, and their tailor. These are not your common-or-garden heroes!

Another comic that amuses meis Insert Humour Here.
It may not be a work of high art, but it often raises a smile!
http://www.drunkduck.com/Insert_Humor_Here/?p=494162
and if you dont like the latest one, then you have no heart!

If you want comments, go make comments.
I always go looking for interesting comics and then go through commenting on most of the pages.
Usually the person will come look at Harkovast and leave a comment in return.
So I get the fun of leaving comments and get more page views and comments back (I loves them page views I does).
I think most of the people who have faved me so far have done so because I commented on their comic and they came and took a look in return.
Basically, if you cant be bothered to read other peoples works and comment on it, how can you expect people to be bothered to read and comment on what you do?

Wow, I feel kind of honored to be mentioned . . . and with such an awesome review!
I have to say that of the few comics I've read here, I do love edepth angel by mayshing (she actually introduced me to this site) as well as one that was just featured called “the composers” (as I love classical music.) But I want to read way more; I just started in on Dajb's “Shades” though I haven't read all of it yet. I"m excited to be a part of this site!

I don't know if this has been posted already, but this is one of the greatest comics I've ever read on Drunk Duck. Professional art and storytelling with excellent style.

I mentioned Opaque Dreams several pages back, but I think it needs mentioning again :] It's a great comic that doesn't get the attention it deserves.
I'll also mention Timothy Green, a sweet, quirky little comic about a sea turtle. Full color and cute, pretty art.

Wish I knew some good ones. Was going to recommend Last Place, but now that doesn't really count any more, does it?

Still early days as far as the story development is concerned, but Timeloss has some lovely artwork with a very fresh feel to it.
Definitely one to keep an eye on.

Yeah I just found Timeloss last night. It really looks awesome. Definitely something to keep up with.
Also I don't know if it's been mentioned but recently I've been enjoying The Carriers. It's only got sixteen pages so far but they're all really good.

Nerdy Boy should be on your radars. It's a fun comic, and I enjoy the coloring. Plus it's updated regularly (almost every day) with two page updates. Go see!

RE: Nerdy Boy: Love the art. Totally not what I expected from a comic of that name! Although I only check out the most recent ten pages or so; hafta dig through the archives later. :)
A couple of my newly discovered faves, both fairly young comics but with loads of potential:
Traume Von Magpie : incredibly surreal, dream-inspired adventures of… uh, this bird-headed guy. Amazing B done in watercolors, and the story reminds me of something out of Dostoevsky.

Totally agree on Traume Von Magpie. Excellently surreal with art that reminds of old political cartoons during WWII. Not the norm in comics which quite refreshing.
one that's new with 10 pages is The People That Melt in The Rain the story is whimsical and the art beautiful. The story reminds of childrens book.

Alternatively, when you are making a post, click on the little “Link” button above where you type and it will put in the URL tags. Paste the URL you want in there.
Or, you can quote someone who has a link in their post, delete all the stuff except for the link part, and type in your own info there.

Another to add to your lists: Animosity Sonata
It's pretty young (only 13 pages), but it's creepy and beautiful - and dialogue-less at the moment. Go see.
Also, are you reading Kuro Shouri yet? There's a huge archive, but I promise it will go quickly.
