So I recently logged back into my ancient account (MacPhellimey) after being surprised it still existed. I've been working towards cleaning up a lot of my old accounts and possibly getting my webcomic started again. Today I went to log back in to get started and no password I've ever used worked, and much to my confusion getting a reset via email sent me to an EVEN OLDER and more forgotten account. I'm unsure why I was able to log into that other account before and I'm very frustrated at not being able to again, and I've only had 2 emails: one for personal use and one for work. I even tried the work email and it doesn't recognize it so that's out. Is there ANY way to recover that account? I'm really hoping so since THAT'S the name I go by currently yet and I really don't like that my art is sitting there not under my control right now.

I am a new member I registered the site 5 days ago but when I logged back in the account didn't exist. But I registered again with the same account I registered 5 days ago and surprisingly I was still successfully registered. This is so weird and confusing.

Randall, please reach out to Tantz_Aerine about the issue. Your previous post was flagged for spam/AI for a number of factors, we cannot divulge which specific behaviors triggered that, but we deal with a LOT of spambots here and the post hit more than a few factors, we have 0 tolerance for bots/spam/AI/LLM use.

Obviously we also don't want to boot off legitimate users either, so please bear with us. Send Tantz a PQ please. I'm completely willing to own up to making a mistake for flagging, but if you want to know why it was flagged I'll have to tell you privately after you speak with Tantz. You gotta pass our human test first. :)

@ozone: they recovered the same account name, we're just wary because of the behavior mentioned.

By the way, registry dates are displaying wrong on profiles– it lists the month twice!

OH Crap while I'm here I should also mention my husband's account refuses to log in at all also, (Evil Emperor Nick) even with password reset, it errors out completely instead of logging in no matter what. He even remembered his old password but it would not accept it. Would be super cool if you could at least set me as co-author on Cwen's Quest so I could put some of the missing pages up, it's a dead comic but we'd at least like to have the missing stuff put up in the archive here for preservation. I hate knowing a good chunk is just GONE because FatCow screwed us over and scammed us.
