Vickie Boutwell has started a Patreon for her comic Used Books!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the site, Patreon allows people to become “patrons” of creators by pledging small amounts of money for work produced.

Pledging larger amounts also comes with perks on top of that good feeling you'll get from supporting an artist. $5 per page of Used Books will get you your very own original digital drawing done by Vickie, $15 gets you a signed book, and $30 gets you a t-shirt or wall decal! usebooks has also set a series of milestone goals for the total amount received for page, including potentially attending a comic con!

URBANCE KICKSTARTER

Montreal-based Steambot Studios is running a kickstarter to produce the pilot for their animated series Urbance.

The story:
“In a post-modern city torn by street violence, sex is prohibited because of a deadly genetical virus infecting the entire population. Men and women have grown apart, hating each other until two young rebels, disowned by their own gangs, are leading the fight to live their love freely.”
