Episode 138 - The Drunkcast, Part 2!

Tantz Aerine, Pit Face and Banes join Ozoneocean for the second part of the Drunkcast! The theme is the same as last week: four webcomicers getting drunk and chatting drunkenly about drinking, as a homage to our site's proud former moniker: Drunk Duck. Tantz from an atmospheric bar in Athens called "Comics". Very appropriate! We rambled and rambled and had a great time. Hooray for the Drunkcast!!! And a HAPPY Belated Birthday to Pit Face's older brother Dustin, who we wish to live old enough to have white hair and when people talk about him they'll say he's a wise person!

Here we go for the second part of Quackcast 133 where we made up a list of crazy interview questions and a lot of great people answered them in the personalities of their comic characters in really silly and fun ways. The idea was an evolution of what I did for Quackcast 132, except here Banes and I acted out all the parts. Banes and I interview TheJimmy! TheJimmy is the Authour of the very popular and very long standing autobiographical comic Been Better! This is our second try at Quackcast 113, the first try didn't record so we came back another day to try again and it worked, hooray!!!! TheJimmy gives us a deep inside look on what it's like and also what it means to be the writer of a long standing autobiographical comics strip, where you can look back on pages and see significant events of your life rendered in a comedy fashion. Been Better has been witness to his many relationships, old friends, numerous valentines, career changes and a lot of growing up. But he also tells us about how he uses real life events as jumping off points to surreally humorous flights of fancy. It's an interesting chat! Also, the number 23 is watching you.

A comic play written by Ozoneocean, full of horrible jokes and starring 5 wonderful duckers all playing their parts to perfection in Operation MOON! This week two down-home good'ol boys escape from the clutches of crazy alien probers and wind up in the middle of a cornfield crop-circle, only to discover week's Quackcast topic: Old time features! Yes, that's right, this is the second time we probe our way into secondhand features, exposing them to the light of day again, trying them on for size and seeing how they fit with current fashions. To that end we've re-looked at some real beauties! Some are still going and some that've since stoped updating, but all six deserve another look 'cause it's all mighty fine work that we are proud to have up on DD!

This is the second part of our back to Skool special. Here we continue with the holiday fun spirit and just chat about whatever interested us over the season, mainly MOVIES... The Avengers, Hawkeye is pointless, Thor is too emo looking, Sky Captain and the world of Tomorrow, Angelina Jolie looks like a Martian but is better looking than Ozoneoncen, and Ozone is gay for Captain America, Mr and Mrs Smith is a bad movie, Moon is wonderful, Skool likes maical reality, movies are great for background while drawing, Banes loves the Burbs, Tom Hanks was better in dumb comedies, Raising Arizona rules, Hudsucker proxy was groovy, Burn After Reading is funny. Then Skoolmunkee asks Banes and I some amazingly ridiculous questions. Banes' responses were hilarious. Banes is getting metal underpants for Christmas next year, listen to find out why!
