The story so far: Sarah and her ex girlfriend Janey have been hunting for a legendary iron Witch Bottle connected to the story of Lenore and the Curse of Carlingford, but as to date they have had no luck in finding it.

Talking of Witch Bottles Becky shared a link with me this week about one which was recently discovered in an old English Inn.

Bear: Yea, Beckys' hit a bit of a flat this week with family health issues which has slowed things down a bit but I'm still pumping out the line work and if I end up in isolation I'll certainly be able to get more done! :)

Now the girls are going to get carted off to jail, alone together in a cell (which Becky will render in gorgeous colors), the romantic possibilities are staggering! I like it. I agree with the others in that I'm more interested in seeing how our author closes the story than in my own fantasy which has Janey and Sarah together in Endless Bliss.

Haha. "Not looking guilty" can be harder for the innocent. As for the ending, I thought you had it all 'set in concrete' ! I don't have any input to change anything.. p.s. I put that witch bottle URL up on my faceache feed, for any 'broom flyers' among my friends B-)

Bear: Haha that's me alright. I start blushing just because I'm worrying about how guilty I look even if I'm innocent! The story is finished yea and it's exactly the way I want it to end but I'm not an arrogant person, if I felt my ending was going to upset the vast majority of our readers who have been loyal for so long I would do my version for posterity but just publish the one everyone else was most happy with. And maybe one day when I'm long dead and gone someone will unearth it and say,'The entire work is now finally available in it's entirety with it's original ending restored!' for the purists. :)

I'm not sure how I'd want this all to end. I'm mostly excited just to see how it'll play out. A very tiny part of me would like to see things come full circle with Sare & Janey together again.

Kid: A lot of readers turned on Janey after she cheated on Sarah, which is understandable so it's nice to see you are still rooting for them :)

Hi Sky, of course it would be wonderful if Simply Sarah became a bestseller with multiple blockbuster movies made out of it, but . . . but it's your strip, and if you want to explore issues surround sexual identity, you go for it. And if people disagree with your take on these issues, then they should learn to express themselves politely. ....................... How would I like it to end? Again it's your strip. So if want to explore trans identity and Victorian Gothic, again you go for it. Though if these side trips include a tastefully erotic threesome with Laura, Sarah & Lucy, well, I wouldn't complain. -blush- ........................ Now back to the muddy field. Janey's info about Nikki, should it really come as a surprise to Nikki that guys aren't looking for an LTR when they hook up with someone at a bar? Talking of bars, would it be too much of coincidence if the approaching PC is Officer Jenny from the first visit to Colors? And is that where & when Nikki met Peter?

Not really getting Peter was callous, just, it was a one-off thing between them. We all know Janey is rather blunt about what she says. It's _Sarah_ who is reading too much into it (like she tends to do :P )

Fruitbat: Haha I've long given up on the fantasy of SS becoming even one movie let alone a series but I love your enthusiasm and Maybe soft porn is the way to go! ;) I had written what I felt was a nice side story between Peter and Nikki which Nik shares with Sarah as a flashback but I seem to keep upsetting the trans community lately so I decided to skip it and just move on. Nik will give Sarah a single page explanation as to what happened though anyway and Peter wasn't as callous as Janey makes out. ;)
