page 17 - from usedbooks
ayesinback on May 22, 2012
By lucky happenstance, after pages of harrowing suspense beautifully captured in various styles of black and white, we have an upswing in mood just as it is usedbooks' turn to draw. And as always, she does not disappoint. Her lovely full color art captures the whimsy of the moment.
That, and a four-leaf clover. A girl and her lucky-charm anvil – I can almost hear the bluebirds.
Fantastic as always, usedbooks!

Usedbooks manages to make an anvil-clonking look romantic. Well done.

yes - perfect scene and tone for usedbooks' touch! it doesn't feel like a true community project without her! Looks great.
