I love the way you manage the screentones in all your comics, my personal favorite is terran sandz, I think that all the effects are nicely done.
Keep it up,

Well, the screentones are nice and well done. It's also great to see an anime-esque comic actually have backgrounds for once. (Backgrounds that are used when necessary.) The art? It improves with every page, with the first page and the latest page being the best. As for the story, it's barely starting so there's not much to say there.

All in all, great comic all around.

I like the shading and the various uniqueness of the text boxes in particular. Also the fact you're not afraid to use the fourth wall to make a comedic point. Pretty awesome all around actually.

It is so unpredictable that every page throws you off. It also has an underlying cynicism I really like :) Well done! Keep it up.

i really really like your last panel on your newest page. I only checked out the last 2 or 3 pages so I'm going to bookmark it, and try to get caught up on your story.

Wow. I love all the angles and perspectives in Human City. The gray thinking/narration boxes are cool and such a neat way to set them apart from the dialogue. Pretty gross (and well-drawn) disemboweling going on. o.O Oh, and I love the shading. It really looks fantastic.

Very good, I say. There may be no color, but the story and character development works nicely. And the background is pretty awesome too.

There's something about your story that I like a lot, thought I don't really know what, I still need to read around 5 more chapters, but there are things I'm curios of, like Yuki's gun…how did the criminals got it O_o.

Maybe it's the simplicity of the art, or the whole storyline, a mix of the two, don't know, but you have something very interesting there. =D If there were more color pages it would be great =P

….seems someone typed faster =P I'll have to modify the post

Yeah, I get the speed from my mother. ^_^ Your comic is very nice as well. You've improved greatly since the first ones.

Sonic MisAdventure ADVANCE:
I don't know a lot about sprite comics, if you creat your own or modify them to get some new positions or actions, that's impresive, I've tried to do sprites before, and it's hard, if not there's still the thing to put them together in a scene to create a story, that's also remarcable.
Finally there are some good stuff there, that mini-mega mart was a good one =P

This second post is because zippo typed faster O_o when we were posting to used books, and I lost XD

I love the line art in Spirit's Magic. Also the inking and the story line rock out loud. It's so mysterious and it seems like the odds are stacked against Mina and Kernel and the world is so new and intriguing that you can't help but continue to read once you began. It just sucks you in and keeps you there. I honestly love it and can't wait till it updates again.

American007 is a probably the only sprite comic that set itself apart from the common fare. Producing scenes with depth and varied layout which provides more perspective than usual. I am not a fan of sprite comics since most seem so manufatured, but with American007 there seems to be care and time put into it that speaks strongly for its creator and its audience. Highly recommend checking it out to see the difference.

GAvin: Human City is very well done. The people are realistically proportioned and the art is clean. I like the ink wash effect. The black and white lends it a grittier feeling to the comic. There isn't much (only 8 strips) so far, but it looks like a really good start. I'm curious to see what happens next. :)

This comic is actually pretty cool. It feels like a children's novel, but it has spunk. I really like it, nice work.

The best sprite comic on DD. Nay, the planet. It has angles! Various wonderful angles! No side scrolling irritation here, no no no, BAM angles. Anyways the writing is cool, the sound effects and visualization of said sound effects is awesome and the backgrounds fit perfect. There's really not much more to say. It's my favorite sprite comic and it's obvious you put a lot of time into your work.

Cute gamer theme comic. It strikes a chord with people in my specific age group (eh, nearly any age group these days) because if you aren't one of these guys, you know them. (The waffle molestation is funny too.) A wonderfully random strip, and I think you've got a great start and a lot of potential. :)

The art style in Used Books is great. I love the pages in color more than the pages without color, not to say that the pages in black and white are bad. It just that the color looks good and it's kinda stylish. The comic has improved by leaps and bound from the first page and seems as if it's going to keep on improving.

Also, I love that little “Recommended Reading” section. Brilliant use of HTML.

@Terminal: Somewhere in SF is very nice. I'm quite jealous of your art style and your use of Html. Your jokes are also very nice and I like how you can create a schedule that you can keep to (it's a very smart thing to do… I really should start doing that).
Updates Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday's (depends).

Gavin, your work on Human City improved demonstratively with every page. It's obvious your confidence is building as well. I wasn't too in love with the initial few pages, but taken as part as a whole I've found I appreciate them a great deal more.

Great start for a book I imagine will only grow stronger.

Wow, interesting sprite comic there. One of the better ones I've seen. The fighting? It actually looks like fighting instead of just two sprites positioned next to each other pretending to fight. There are some neat camera angles that I thought were impossible using sprites. It's really one of the better sprite comics on the Duck.

The amount of effort that goes into American007 is breathtaking.

I'm new to this comic, but what captivates me about it is the “chemistry” netween the blonde and the dark-haired girl - that of someone cheerful and someone who suffers from pms 31 days a month ;) Some of the latter's reactions are just priceless, especially the puzzlement on her face in the bottom left panel and her protectiveness concerning the inflated “baby”. All of this looks really nice because of well-depicted facial expressions. And as opposed to the general tendency in comic strips, there's quite an elaborate background in there at all times.

I think the stylized Nintendo characters are cute. I like that you are using lots of different angles and poses too. And the facial expressions are really fun. You've got a really good start for your comic. Keep it up. :)
