I know I've said it before, but American007 is pushing the boundaries of what sprite comics are and showing them what they could be. Definitely worth checking out.

@$$hole! updated today with a new page. Only 1 more page to go with this story arc! Templehas some fan art by my good friend Carl, but I won't need feedback on that. ;)

@$$hole! has gnomes, poltergeists, supernatural cockblocking, and male pattern baldness. You know who doesn't like those things?

Awesomataz.. hmm never heard of it till today. That being said. I like it a lot. Looks like an mspaint comic but it's a very well done one. The Harlequin poster in the background was AWESOME..ataz and the dialogue is witty and smart. Very good especially for a comic genre that most generally frown upon. Awesomataz seems to be doing everything right and is definitely worth a read through.

Asshole is a MUCH better comedic name for a comic than penis!

Its also much funnier than werewolf!

Werewolf has a very unique style to it, and I haven't quite figured out if the tone is supposed to be funny or serious yet. I find that some of the pages are funny, whether intentional or otherwise. I always like a comic that makes me chuckle, so I like werewolf!

Temple updated with Fan Art by TheMidge28, so please comment on the final page of The Prisoner story arc on @$$hole!

Finally I get to comment on your stuff!

@$$hole is hands down on of the funniest comics on DD. The story arcs are outrageous and random and the jokes are spot on. The art fits PERFECTLY with the story and the last page of the prisoner story arc was a great way to wrap it up. It also left a lot open for other story lines to follow. If you haven't read it yet then get on it. You'll be glad you did.

Trevor: I'm not sure if I had the chance to say something in this thread about The Temple of a Thousand Tears. I've been following the story basically from the start, and I really like the chemistry between the characters. The center here is the main character, known as the Swordsman and the various animosities between him and the other characters. Some he doesn't like. Some he hates. He's stuck with a group of wanderers, and he's not happy at all, to say the least. Which is sad, because their lives depend on him. So I do wonder what will happen at a time of trial - when whether they live or die indeed will rely on him. I like it. I like stories that take time to develop characters so that when it really gets hot, you really cheer for them.
Art-wise, it's an intriguing mixture of characters drawn with sharp, straight lines (makes me think of Sal Buscema), some photographic backgrounds here and there (which blend in very naturally), and a very clever use of red.

Oh oops, Shin beat me to it :) But oh well, he's a buddy of mine, too - and I do recommend his comic Dreams of 1337ness - especially to all the gamers out there. It IS a comic about gamers and their various misadventures. I've really come to like the “geek vs. the world” strips - Genesis' brutal clashes with reality. Or people all too willing to mutilate him. And those are plenty! FUN!

The artwork in A Bit Cheesy is fantastic, and I love your use of silhouettes. The story manages to be cute, but in a way that's smart, and never sugary. I look forward to seeing what's next.

Although Awesomataz is a stick figure comic, it is quite funny. Your most recent page, for example, is freakin' awesome and true.

I also enjoy the overall layout of the comic. It's just so simple and enjoyable.

Keep it up.

I like how you improved from your first comic. Coloring is neat and simple and easy on the eyes. And you've got wonderful characters I just want to hold and strangle, I mean hug them really tightly.

Wow, I really like how you draw your characters Katch. I've always loved pencil art, so I'm a bit biased on that subject… but still. The presentation of the comic is very good (and that's saying something when you're only on your 4th page).

I can only imagine how good it would look inked and coloured.

I've always been a fan of stick people and stylized simplistic comics done well. Frank and Vinny is great for that. :) The poses and facial expressions are executed very well. Amazing what a couple big eyes and a mouth can show. Every strip makes me smile, and I think it would do that even without the words, just because of the expressions and poses alone. That said, the writing is really great too. Definitely a fun comic. Keep it up.

Your artwork has improved dramatically in comparison to your earlier pages. Also, I like the coloring you did on your most recent page. The comic looks cleaner and smoother in color than in B&W. Also the story flows at a good pace, and it's very easy to read. Keep up the good work :)

Really nice drawing style you've got there.
The paneling is put together well too.
Good to see you playing around with different angles.

I'd like to see more contrast on the pages. They tend to be an even grey tone but maybe that's just me.

I think your readers are really lucky to be able to read such a quality, professional comic for free.

I wouldn't really read it because it's not my style but I can imagine people who are into that fantasy manga genre lapping it up.

i'll only do the chapter covers that way =3

Phuck'd… Kind of a controversial name for a comic, but hey, we have a comic called Penis on here, and everyone loves Penis, so woot woot for controversial names ;) Aaanyway… I like the artwork. It's simple, but pretty. Nice character design. The shading and the blur here and there is a nice touch. And last but not least, it's funny. I like the mottos/quotes that end each episode, too.

Simply put, I LOVE “A BIT CHEESY.” This comic has amazing writing, great coloring, kick ass water effects, and the cutest puppy that you will ever see drawn on the internet! The conversations are top notch, and the shading creates an atmosphere that parallels a very serious dramatic tale - but this one features mice!

If you're not already reading A Bit Cheesy, then what the hell are you doing on the internet?

Temple has updated twice already this week (but I haven't had the time to tell anyone). Page 25 went live on Monday, and Page 26 had a new page go up on Wednesday! Be sure to check them out!

Well, the first comment that comes to mind re Of Snakes and Apples is … it's just gorgeous to look at!

There are a couple of especially lovely pages where strands of the character's hair intertwine with the panel borders, suggesting this comic has actually been designed, not just drawn. Beautiful.

I love reading Shades. It has me totally hooked and craving for more. The characters are believable and it is a refreshing spin on the usual superhero persona and environment. Art-wise it is a great mix of spot-on colouring and lining and a fluidity in the form that makes you feel you are peeking at a reel of exclusive action movie material.

100% MUST read :)
