Well, you heard it. One of the townies has defected into the mafia. Just to let everyone know, anyone accepted into the mafia retains their original role as well as gain the additional power to kill one person at night.

Ok, doesn't look to be much for clues in the short bit on the defector. Now looking at the actual kill, what pops out directly to me is the use, and questioning the proper use of “abode”, has anyone done something like that in the thread?

We have eight players remaining, whereas the opposition has two. In a game of attrition, we still have the advantage.

Therefore, let's not go lynch-crazy tomorrow; that will only decrease our numbers. Rather, let's bide our time for now until we have more clues.

We do know of some people who are suspicious for some reason or another. I think we should try and lynch one (or more?) of them, depending on how certain we are. Otherwise we're just sitting around waiting for 2 of us to get killed.

Consider: The mafia presumably already know who the 3 unkillable people are (mayor, paranoid, and veteran) because they've attempted them already. So they're sure to hit people who can die. Also, depending on who the mad bomber has bombed, there are potentially 2 people out there still with bombs on. So when we get the bomber, we should expect to lose 2 more townies.

I don't agree that biding our time is doing us many favors at this point. We know who some suspicious people are. If we're wrong we're wrong, but we have a better than average chance of being right.


I'm suspicious of theorah, even though s/he seems to agree with everything I say (or perhaps because of that?)

I'm also suspicious of redbaron because, duh. Perhaps it's just time to get rid of him, as there's not many alternative candidates anymore. As much as I hate to give people what they want, I'm probably gonna vote for you buddy. :]

well I come out and say it, I am the mad bomber, and current God Father. and since I can't die, I really don't fear you people. I thought about playing along but this is so much more fun. I know people are eager for my crusade of madness to end so I figure I would come out and reveal myself to you. Now prepare to die.

I have reason to suspect both of them. I will vote for one or the other when/if Ochi declares a double header.
