Speaking of old clothes, I still have some of my old highschool stuff, including a pair of jeans with about a zillion stitched up holes. They fit pretty tightly now. Too tight in the crotch. Owwwww >.<
I still have a pair of lederhosen from when I was a little teeny boy too. Made of seal skin apparently.

No lederhosen, but I do still have my grandfather's wool WWII US Navy pants, I think. I don't wear them because I'm allergic to wool.

I don't think they'd fit under my jeans that nicely lol!

What size are the Navy pants? I'm a 30 inch waste, for comfort. Can go 28 on a tight fit. And of course bigger stuff can be taken in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but women's buttons are usually on the opposite side (the wearer's left) as men's clothing (the right) on account of women used to have other folks dress ‘em. It's an old coat I got from an op-shop when I was in uni.
I suppose I can forgive you for not knowing much about clothes… but the style of coats with a slightly narrow waste only became more exclusively a female style in the 90's.
All throughout time up until the mid 1970's that was one style of coats and jackets for either sex (among many others). In the 1980's all coats lost their waste and in the mid to late 90's a very narrow and high wasted style came in for women, which was basically a reference to some 70's styles.
My coat however is pretty old. The was isn't that narrow and the shoulders a too broad for most women (when seen from behind).
I know my clothes.

So it may well be a women's coat if this is the case. But it's fairly unisex- I never thought twice about it.

Well, if you don't make a habit of wearing both men and women's clothing, then you probably wouldn't notice!
bravo1102Hmm… I must try that with my fave old pair of Aussie Army boots (army surplus store bought- and not army issue).
In the Army you can even skip the eyelets over the bend in the ankle so laces aren't biting into it. I've had some nasty welts there.
