Tommym: That's a good question and being as there was friction between Helen and Laura anyway I think Helen would still have tried to intervene just as she did over the piano lessons.

Thanks, Tommy. Yes I'm still around and coloring, although lately Sky has abeen doing some work to the pages after I submit them, to create the atmosphere she envisions. Thank you for being such a faithful reader, Tommy.

Ah ! Texture sheets. O.K. I quite like doing bricks. Since I paint from the word 'go', I put a spray colour down, then sometimes a second, different shade, randomly on top to give a variance. Then I spray on the lines in light and dark to create (hopefully!) a realistic light/shadow effect. Looking forward to this weekend's update....but not the ending of the whole thing B|

Bear: It didn't take too long at all really, I guess about 30 mins. I draw all the horizontal lines in pencil first as they are the ones that need to be in perspective, then stagger the vertical ones to create the brick pattern, before inking the individual bricks. I make my own texture sheets too, which I keep in a folder and just lay over the final panel as a transparency and saves doing all those dots by hand for each individual panel.
