Yup, it's become a colony of stoners.
Various earlier ideas for this aspect of the story included…
no survivors and the crew investigating what happened.
possibly hostile indigenous life.
the survivors having mutated due to the environment.
the survivors being treated as an exhibit by am alien race.
the survivors attacking the crew and killing one of them.
Ultimately I decided to go with something that wouldn't involve any action and wouldn't drag on too long as it isn't the focus of the story.
The pages of this story are complete.
The next one is still being scripted but I have started making sets for it as I work out what I will need for each scene.
