Not the best/prettiest strip, but the prototype drawing got a few chuckles from science teachers this weekend. – I drew this during a workshop at the science conference. It was such a disappointing event this year. That said, my parents won a few door prizes (two books and a TInspire, a special graphing calculator with some cool gadgets for physics experiments), so it wasn't a *complete* waste.

so far this is the only one that made me lol

I've been thinking... if we wait much longer setting up a space colony, it will be impossible to get people to go. No internet on Mars.

It's funny, I think... The tech we currently have in our wristwatches is more advanced than the stuff we used to get to the moon.

You know.... It's sad but true :D We are using the same technology now to get into space as we did to get to the moon (before I was BORN!)

Funny! Remember "2001" the movie?

Jeez, why didn't I check out this comic sooner? It's quite awesome and consistantly funny :]

Thanks. I'm doing fine. I'm debating between two gags for next week's strip. ;-)

Well, I'm glad to be in the "information age" instead. Otherwise, I'd not be able to talk to all you fun people. I'd just be lonely up in my dome in the moon colony. (Or, more likely, still lonely in a rural earth town watching shows about rich people playing golf on a space station.) I just think it's funny that people still call futuristic things "space-age." The word lost all real meaning.

Ah, yes the space age: what people sixty years ago thought the world would be like ten years ago. I'd like to have a wall made out of that stuff!

Maybe if Geroge Lucas did GOOD movies instead of that Episodes 1-3 of Star Wars, it would've peaked interest again =( Gah, at least something cool came out of the conference! =D

Bummer about the disappointing conference =[ Next time, maybe. Sad to think that the space age is kind of a thing of the past. My brother's an aerospace engineer, so it just chaps him to no end.
