Lite Bites Review: Robofemoids!, p 6/6

Sort of a messy conclusion for this review. It seems like everyone had fun reading the Robofemoids saga, which I guess is the main point, but there were nagging issues with some of the writing decisions, primarily with the first Robofemoids comic. Hopefully, this review has piqued your interest enough that you'll go check out Battle of the Robofemoids, Bravo's current effort in the Robofemoids saga, and a surefire nominee for Best Photo Comic in this year's Drunk Duck Awards (which, if you haven't voted for yet, you really need to).

That's the sad thing about doing comics: We can only do one at a time! Too bad we can't clone ourselves! Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing where you end up going with Robofemoids, but then there's no telling what other ideas you've got brewing.

This review almost makes me want to give up on any future Robofemoids projects and do that "more serious" story. If I could just finish photography for "Battle".

@anonymous: There were three different people reviewing the comic, so it wouldn't be unusual for them all to have different thoughts on it. That's actually preferable. I don't think the conclusions were "talking it up" at all; all the reviewers clearly expressed reservations, not glowing praise. As for "balance," there are four pages prior to this one in which we offered a brief overview, as well as our thoughts on what was good and not-so-good about Robofemoids. Based on that, you all should be able to decide for yourselves whether you think the comics are worth having a look at.

Genejoke saw enough parallels in MOTA that he wanted us at first to review that comic here as well. We had to nix that idea though when we realized how long it was going to make the review. So instead we decided just to briefly reference it.

Seth Shostak! Now that is something to look forward to after reviewing some inane photocomics. A strange dichotomy going on here with one saying "bad this" and "bad that" with the only payoff being bared breasts and cool looking sets and the other two talking it up as if it's worth reading. The review didn't come off as well-balanced.
