Strip XIII: No Promises, No Guarantees

I really don't have much to say about this particular strip, other than the last panel ended up becoming my personal favorite out of the entire comic. I mean, what can I say? I suppose I'm a sucker for unlikely and unconventional friendships, such as the one between a vampire like Levana and a mortal woman like Laura . . . if only the rest of the world could be more like this - especially in this day and age where people tend to focus more on what makes us different than they do what makes us the same.
Either way, let's just hope for Levana's sake that Laura is right. . . .
Next week: oh gee, what are these two knuckleheads up to now?
