I would like to formally apologize for the disaster I caused on the last page. I would also like to request that anyone voting to lynch me based on this please don't. If I'm gonna die, I'd like to die because someone has some proof that connects me to some crime or to be killed by a dino. (Preferably by the dino)

I interpreted the corpse as a throwaway vote. I've done them before. If you vote for the throwaway, you can say that you had nothing to do with the vote of the accused. The person next in line still swings, but he swings knowing that 7 people chose to throw their votes away rather than make such a weighty decision.
