Afterall, this is not MY comic. This is a comic comprised of about 2 dozen contributors, from judges, writers, covers, voices, to page artists. Without them: nadda. Just because I love it doesn't mean I did it.

The comic is indeed “cooky” It made me breakfast yesterday and has promised it's special meatloaf tonight.
The comic is also kooky but I attribute that to the script. Gunwallace's skewed word play encourages and inspires an equally skewed interpretation.

Well, I ended up with too much on my plate, and so I asked every Drunk Ducks good buddy, the one and only Banes, to please create the broadcast from our voice recordings, and of course he said of course.
Hes working his way through the project while he continues to aid and abet many
other good projects, in addition to his own comic. So well be waiting
awhile longer for the spectacular masterpiece, but in the mean time . . .

Yes, everybody, the radio play stuff is coming along very well…the bones of the play are in place…but there's a fair chunk left to do with many sound effects and stuff like that.

Attention all Ducks!
The fop-clown-prince has been deposed and the Czarina has returned!
Ayesinback is on the case, and surely will do this thing right!
The play is alive, and she will be sure it sees the light of…er, well, the sound of…I mean, the sounds will reach all of your ears.
The thing is so good, script-wise and vocal performance-wise, and with ayes at the helm, the whole package should be just gangbustas!
All good intentions aside, I was not making headway, not nearly enough at least…so for all who doubted, doubt no more! The true One has returned!

Banes has pieced together all the dialog bits and now I get to be creative with some music here and some sfx there. all good stuff, So a huge: THANK YOU, Mr. Banes!!!!
OK - so I've worked this Saturday for most of the day and only have the first 2 of 19 pages done. On the upside, it's fun. On the downside, most days aren't Saturdays. So the continuing patience of the Duck population is again requested and most appreciated.
But (yeah, I'm biased, so what?) I'm liking it :-)
oh - and to those who might find an email: a response would be most appreciated.

A little update(especially since I went around today posting like a mad woman, again, in a few threads):
So: I like's what we gots, so far, which is roughly two-thirds, maybe even 3/4. Per NickyP's *implied* request, The Czarina is taking care to have a polished “soundtrack” and I think it just might beat out last year's play. But then, I love all my children …
The thing is: I will be away 6-15 Aug (Alaska, baby - vacation - no internet, let alone audacity and all that good stuff). I might be able to finish up the sfx and music add-ins, but there a few “surprises” that have not yet entirely jelled. HEY!!!! you people know who you are >:(
Anyhow, I'm still hoping that everything will come together (like Geoffrey Rush's character does in Shakespeare In Love), and there IS a Plan B, just in case my hope is for naught (still lookin at you-know-who-you-are), but
well, I've got to pack! And I gotta look at my itinerary, because I already know there's a train dumping us I-don't-know-how-many-miles from my hotel, and - well - I'm not good at hiking with luggage (the truth is out) …
So - sorry. Again, it's not immediate, but it IS still in the works.
