Looking fit Ayes!
I saw some simply gigantic orb spiders in Darwin that'd love to feast on those cicadas!
-And yes, Biana looks exactly like Pinky there… it's uncanny.

@FGM, you don't look like a monkey!

@Genejoke. looking dangerous! You need a Harley. The current hairstyle suits you well.

Aw, dumbos. We recently got two after our standards passed. Rats are some of the sweetest animals.
Aaand here's a picture of me from last month with my new dog, Riot:

His attempt to sit perched on the center console while I drove did not prove successful.

@rainingbells: Yeah, I love my fuzzballs. I've been breeding them for a bit over a decade. Most of mine are dumbos. Shion's one of my favorites. The one behind her is her daughter.

Because I'd been threatening to shave it all off for years.

Leaving me here less than a month later:

Now to see how long it takes to grow back out.

Good to see you back Hayakain!

@ Rainingbells- the hair is a shock! o_O
I cut mine too, after being long for OH so many years… probably more years than a few duckers have been alive:

I'm not that thrilled with it… I love long hair so much, it sort of represents a kind of intrinsic mental freedom for me. I cut it though because it's been so amazingly long since it's been short, and I'd finally achieved all the main objectives was striving towards with my long hair: To have it almost always look good in the style I wanted it to, to have it KEEP growing and getting longer, to have it naturally hang in curls.
I got all that and then finally got tried of it.
But I'm not so enamoured of shorter hair so I'll wear hats till It's long again.

I hate short hair as well. I think that the current male gender, with their short hair and shaved faces, isn't quite as manly as the traditional man with long hair and great big bushy beards.

What I mean to say is: Ozone should grow himself a beard.
The feeling you get, right before you poop.
That's the best feeling in the world.

Everywhere around me it's hard to find a guy without a mustache or goatee. But all shaved heads, that way they can work harder on making their facial hair just right.

If I can use a comb or brush on my hair, it's too long.

I've been through the beard stage. I've had all sorts of facial hair… a goatee, soul patch, porn-stache, full beard, curly moustache…
That was before the hipsters ruined facial hair for everyone. >:[

When I was a kid I was pretty much forbidden from having long hair so when I got older that's what I did. Didn't think I'd ever really have it short again but when I ended up in the hooskal last year and they were passing around the clippers I had the urge to buzz it. After over twenty years with it long I think I'm good with having it short for a while. I've cut it a couple times since then and like having the ability to spike it. That was the first and only time I ever took it completely down with a proper razor, though.

As for the beard thing I let it grow out for two or three months, get irritated with it, shave it off, and go through the routine again in another few months. It's a terrible cycle.

Digging the hat, BTW, Ozone.

I dyed my hair for the first time ever! Also got it cut shorter than I've had it since middle school.

Nice one!
Dorian Gray was so cool. He completely embodied the aestheticism movement and knew how to have a fun time. I love how Oscar Wilde said a variation of this quote before his death (but not right before, as scholars love to point out):
“Either this wallpaper goes or I do.”

Young Victorian man about town. I see that and I think more Cavalier versus Roundhead Oliver Cromwell.

I liked the Picture Of Dorian Grey… but that character was SUCH a bastard! A real evil shit. They did well to make him the villian in The Leauge of Extrodinary Gentlemen (the film was not as bad as people say at all!). It's such a classic novel, just a pity it was so short.

Ha! I'd rather my old cavalier style came back! Roundheads were so dour… Smart, serious, ambitious, and competant: yes- but without flare. ^_^

I made a startling discovery the other day. I might be Superman.

For comparison. This is my mind-mannered alter ego.

What a coincidence - I, too, am a superhero! My power is that I can blind people 50 feet away with the glare reflecting off my skin.

This was taken in Montreal last summer, just got the photos back from my sister. For whatever reason I'm not very good at fake-smiling so I'm always pleased to see a photo like this where I actually look happy. :)

What a cute little ratty, by the way, usedbooks! Do you still have a few?

@Usebooks - I prefer the happy Usebooks with the shoulder rat and the snowy backdrop :)

@Hippy - Love the pose, the smile and the gigantic blue lizard! It's impossible not to comment on the way you're very neatly bisected there; legs and bust. That dress is keeping you together :D

Just a few rat pics or the curious.

My two youngest boys (Tulio and Miguel) with their dad.

Some of my girls in the morning.

My males on a cold day.

Same males at dinner time. (Gunther, Jake, Stormo, Finn, Ziggy, and Rincewind)

For good measure, here is my cat Lily on her bunk in my camper.

Those are some beautiful fancy rat pictures, usedbooks! My favorite are the white and brown females. It is also the first time I have seen a hairless rat (I have only seen naked molerats and Egyptian cats in person). I am very curious, have you ever named one of your pet rats “Nicodemus”?

I haven't. They mostly have geeky anime or video game names. Jacuzzi is named from the series Baccano. Ziggy got his name from the game Xenosaga. I had a Muppets-themed litter a few years ago.

The rex (cury-coated) are my favorites. Tulio and Finn are rex and so is my oldest girl Nice (middle right in the girl picture). Hairless are fun to have around. They are very warm. The ones I have now are named Beemo and Simon.

I've peeked into this thread on occasion, but this is my first comment in it I think…

Okay. The rats are cute. I'm surprised videos haven't been made of them. Or I have yet to see them. :)

And just a compliment… Kawaii definitely lives up to her username. :)

Here's a video of my little guy Ringo. He loved making little kleenex nests for himself. :)
Probably not particularly interesting to anyone but me, though. I think I have a cuter video of him going mental for a honey drop somewhere.
