With comic jam past the half way mark I'm looking to get some volunteers for the next one.


HOW THE COMIC JAM WORKS

A comic jam is a process where artists collaborate on creating a single comic. There is no script, and the content of the comics is improvised based solely on what happened in the previous pages.

One artist creates the first page, then another artist creates the second, and a third does the next, and so on. (If one artist wants to do multiple pages, that's awesome - they just won't be consecutive ones ‘cos that kind of defeats the point of the improv. :).

Genre

Like last time it will be up to the first artist to create the initial concept of the comic jam. But to keep things interesting, this time we will have a genre guidline, in this case, comedy.

Not a fan of page one, but I think I can pull off a funny page.

Naturally I am up for it. I enjoy these a lot more than I ever did doing my own comics!

Genejoke, if you want to do a page yourself, why not just make it an 11-page comic? I think it's cool to have a specific “middle” page to the story anyway.

What about Jam 3? Why do I have feeling this will be done before that one?

That's probably my fault. I'm a very relaxed taskmaster.

We only have two pages to go though, so if you want to race I feel we still have the advantage. :P
