Is Donald Trump is most evil US president ever?

I'm curious.
He seems pretty bloody stupid, so that explains some of the apparent evil.
I mean, he was born a spoilt little mewling rich brat with a golden spoon well up inside his out of touch arse so he's congenitally blind to the experiences and views of anyone who's not as privileged as him, and he's not smart enough to be able to empathise or understand the problems of anyone that's not himself- so THAT sort of explains why he's such a douche…

But isn't that the essence of evil and not an excuse for it?

Just an example why a very wealthy business man shouldn't be the chief executive of a country. After all Julius Caesar was the richest man in Republican Rome.

As for most evil, that's highly subjective. To you probably it's Trump, but arguably by the standards of the US Constitution; it's Lincoln. Go back to 1862 and take a look around. Suspending habeas corpus? Going to war over states rights?

Most corrupt is a toss up between Benjamin Harrison or Warren Harding. Most inept is Millard Fillmore and Jimmy Carter. Most racist is undoubtedly Woodrow Wilson who was the most progressive until Obama but who also vetoed a voting rights act and an anti-lynching bill, but did give banks nearly unlimited power with the Federal Reserve.

And then he ran for re-election saying he kept us out of war and got the US into one within 60 days of his second inauguration as well as punitive expeditions against two US neighbors. If he didn't have a “D” next to his name he'd be the most evil.

But as any presidential historian will tell you though, the worst and most hated President of all time is always the current one.

Just wait 25 years and Trump will be heralded as a great President and everyone will be busy complaining about President Chelsea Clinton as the US finally gets single payer health care. :D

And could you just imagine if Twitter had been around for LBJ or Nixon? You think Trump is loose with his personal opinions and constantly putting down others? HA!

I'd say it is something that will be judged after the fact- not necessarily after his term in office is done but by the evidence of his practices towards the populace. Also, would ‘most evil’ be with regards to US foreign policy as well? Because if so, that might have a lot of presidents vying for the spot.

Which is more evil, committing minor evil deeds yourself through inaction allowing great evils to be committed?

He's a great big throbbing smelly cock and no mistake!

The only good part is that the US has taken the top spot again as the country with the stupidest, least respected, more embarrassing head of state.
- more so than North Korea.

Italy had it for a while in Burlesconi.
Australia was embarrassed and humiliated to have Tony Abbott, but not tooo many people noticed him before he got kicked out. (He WAS noticed enough though :( )

And if he was still the same vile, outspoken, embarrassing simpleton but a socialist would you still single him out for such rancor? I sincerely doubt it which pretty much makes your evaluation of him ridiculous.

And saying he's a bigger embarrassment than someone who starves his populace and wantonly kills his opponents? I guess he's not as bad as Trump because he plays lip service to Maoist communism? A political viewpoint guilty of the mass murder of millions, but that's not as bad as a foolish conservative who's barely responsible for the death of a few thousand. (The deaths directly caused by American action as opposed to that caused by combatants killing each other which probably would have happened without any American ever being deployed overseas in fruitless quests.)

Right. That world view is as twisted and wrong as any fantasy of a neo-con.

Let's leave these stupid political diatribes on other social media and get back to talking comics. Evidence doesn't matter to any side only confirmation of their own belief system. We talk past each other ignoring the truth in each other's words instead launching off into hyperbole because of personal prejudice.

Of course I would! Left or right, it's irrelevant. An embarrassment is an embarrassment.
You can be a very silly man sometimes Bravo.

Kim Un or Ill or whatever name he has isn't as embarrassing as Trump. Objectively.

I didn't say anything about comparing them in terms of atrocity.
I guess I just baited you into thinking that I did ;)

There's nothing political here. He happens to be a politician, but I never mentioned politics ^_^

Just for the record- that not doing anything allows evil deeds to occur doesn't excuse the evil doer.

The allowing of evil to occur is evil in itself for sure. But there may be mitigating factors- from not knowing enough about the evil being committed until it's too late to being too afraid to do anything about it. Someone that is passive is part of the problem, but not the core of it.

The active committing of evil is more evil. The passive one wouldn't be doing what the active evildoer would. The active evildoer is taking the initiative, has the motivation and the audacity to dare inflict whatever it evil he/she is inflicting upon the world. That he/she is allowed to doesn't make his/her actions any less odious nor does it constitute any mitigating factor.

Also, the biggest evil in Korea is that it was made to split up. Not whatever regime reigns in either of its parts.

Well… President Roosevelt actually incarcerated more than 100,000 individuals based on ethnicity alone, so until something like that happens I'm going to have to vote no on this.

Italy had it for a while in Burlesconi.

“for a while”
just from 1994 to some years ago :|
20 years.
image 20 years of trump, bush or whoever.
now u can understand what we (or better to say, some of us here in italy) suffered.

btw, tatcher, regan, bushes, berlusconi, trump… remind me how it's easy for humanity to acept someone who is able to ruin your tomorrow for an aceptable story today.

in all this, left wing (Hillary)(and expecially, that cancer called social justice warriors) are responsable for these monsters to the power. and when i think about them, i start to say thx to those monsters too.
absurd.

Just wanted tho say that, as an American, I'm not even remotely “embarrassed” by our president, and it's not terribly important to me whether people outside the US are impressed with our leaders. I also don't see what qualifies Trump as “evil,” aside from the fact that he's of a different political orientation than the person who started this thread. This is all to indicative of the sorry state of political discussion in the Social media age. If someone has a different position, you don't bother trying to understand them; you just call them names and say they're evil, and then disgracefully try to pretend you're engaging in some semblance of reasonable discourse. I'm saddened and disappointed to see this sort of thing going on here, but also not surprised unfortunately.

Hm… sounds like you're doing a bit of that yourself though Cid. Also, the US president concerns foreigners because the USA affects their own countries a lot, one way or the other.

Political discourse is bound to be more emotionally charged as a function of how politics affect daily life.

On the theme of worst President ever, one might also want to nominate Ulysses S. Grant as possibly the most corrupt President in U.S. history. Also, Andrew Jackson had a great enthusiasm for perpetrating genocide on American Indians, but in his day, that probably made him a hero. Who knows what history will say about the likes of Trump… I sure don't

I dont trust him further than i can throw him, and seeing as I have little girly arms, that's not very far. I dont know if he's “Evil” per se. I want to say his platform of stubborn ignorance and rampant fearmongering makes that a “yes”, but at this point, I dont know if that's because of any wish to be truly vindictive on his part or just because he's lost touch with reality and is in reality, a scared old man in a position he's not equipt to handle.

He's a fear monger. Nothing weakens intelligence and integrity in a nation faster than blatant, stupid fear. So fuck him either way and fuck us if we give up critical thought for giving into his shit slinging.

Threads like this never do any good, and always seem to make bad blood… I've learned, the hard way, that to get involved in conversations like this, and take the other side (even if just as devil's advocate), to try to defend ANYTHING about Trump, or try to explain why some of his ideas aren't bad (even if they could be much better presented)… I've learned that gets you painted with… Well, pretty much all the descriptors Ozone started this thread with, in addition to being a Racist and a Misogynist (or a supporter of one)…

I mean Every. Single. Time!!

I live deep in Trump country and there's so much that so many just don't get, and, sadly, I've learned there's no convincing, or even the possibility of politely agreeing to disagree…

So… Webcomics! :D

I wanted to stir things up. :)
We fall into a very anodyne state here… on the face of it it seems calm and pleasant but what it really ends up being is sleepy and dead in the water.
So a bit of passion does not go astray!

Anything to fire up those flagging spirits!

So yes, Donald Trump is an arsehole. :)

Ya know, I kinda suspected you might be trolling for this very reason LOL!!

Fine!!

So… The Donald Rocks! Orange is the New President!! Ol' Don should've been my second ex-husband (after Elvis, of course)! ;)
