Hey everyone!
I’m Daisy, and I’m thrilled to finally join The Duck Webcomics community. I’ve been a longtime lurker, enjoying so many amazing comics (Water Lily High is a recent favorite—I love the quirky school dynamics and underwater aesthetic!), and I figured it was time to dive in and start interacting.
A bit about me: I’m a huge fan of fantasy and slice-of-life webcomics, and I love discovering hidden gems and discussing character arcs, art styles, and wild plot twists. Outside of comics, I’m into digital art and indie RPGs, so feel free to hit me up if we share any interests!
I’d love recommendations—what are some must-read comics or forum threads I shouldn’t miss? Also, any tips for a newbie navigating the forums?
Looking forward to chatting with you all!

*waves* hello and welcome!! Always glad to see a new member join the forum!
I also enjoy fantasy comics, so indeed I have some recommendations!Just a handful for now so I don't overwhelm ya :)I read a lot of horror fantasy but I'll stick to some things that are more lighthearted! (Also seeing how many comics I'd love to rec but they stopped updating 2 years ago makes me cry!)
Patchwork and Lace–romance/adventure in a fantasy setting, wonderful complicated characters
Era of Iridore– fantastic hand-colored art in a rich fantasy setting, it just ended its first major arc but the author says there may be more!
Blake's Goblin Tech Emporium (the official name) a delightful comic about a goblin family business, with a cool punk goblin girl and her con-man uncle! I love this comic. They had another one I was gonna plug but it's gone :(
Bagley the OK Magician– extremely charming comic about a magician who is OK!
Geist Gears– super stylish, I'm still reading thru the archives but it's good stuff
Withdrawn– slice-of-life romantic comedy with incredible art, hilarious characters
Comfur ChanWhat if the webcomic sites were girls? Very cute comic.
I don't know what your tolerance level for adult content/situations is, but another series I enjoy is It's Permanent, about a monster hunter and his various relationships.
The same author also does the zombie-filled rock band adventure Dead Leon which is a pretty wild ride, and filled with relationship drama.
If you don't mind a more horror setting for fantasy, then
Crater's Edge– a little more horror fantasy, meticulously detailed monsters in a nightmarish setting.
Demon Eater has some great characters and creepy & awesome watercolor art style.
As for forum tips, the general forum seems to be where most activity coalesces, but it'd be nice if other threads got some attention too. I just came back from a long self-imposed break honestly XD
Anyway hope you have a good time in this community!

Hi! :oD comic creator and lurker here, i used to have a lot more free time reading comics (aka using the school computers to read webcomics till they banned the site) but here are a few recs on this site (be warned! some of them can get graphic)
Opey the warhead-post apocalyptic future following a living nuclear warhead going to school
Oswald the overman-oswald a living doll dies and goes to hell, but if he manages to defeat the “seven worst”
A lunatics tale-flint and zinc find themselves wrapped in conspiracy's but nobody believes them
Spazient-a Tasmanian tiger gains a helment that grants them hyperintelligence but is hunted down by an alien
I Will draw my way to you- aya and mokoto are childhood friends who try to pursue their dream of becoming mangaka
off site I'd recommend what happens next-details the after math of what the internet dubs the “tumbler murders”
as for forum tips you can only look at forums topics started on your profile, you have to manually search for your reply on other threads and other people commenting on your threads, either way i hope you enjoy your time on this site!
