Celebrating Milestones

Throughout my various job positions as well as comic work, there were countless times where my team and myself would accomplish an important goal or milestone but take very little time to step back and look at what we had achieved. This is very easy to do, particularly if there are further tasks that need to be done.

But when you hit that first milestone and any subsequent ones for that matter, be it in your studies, your career, your comics on even on a personal level, take a moment to really appreciate what it is you have accomplished.

Doing so, allows you feel like you are making progress and that, in turn, inspires you to continue learning and creating even when motivation eventually fades. Embrace that feeling of pride that you have completed what you set out to do.

Some days the accomplishments is big such as completing a degree, getting married or obtaining a huge following; other days it can be as simple as making the bed. Regardless, take the time to be proud of who you are and how far you have come.

What have you accomplished recently? Hit any major milestones? Let us know in the comment section below! And join us on Sunday evening for our Quackchat at 5:30PM(EST)!

Don’t forget you can now advertise on DrunkDuck for just $2 in whichever ad spot you like! The money goes straight into running the site. Want to know more? Click this link here! Or, if you want to help us keep the lights on you can sponsor us on Patreon. Every bit helps us!

"What have you accomplished recently?" I'm "almost there".

I'm hoping to get my next book printed next year. Do that's something, I guess. (Each book is around 200 pages and takes about four years to complete.)

On June 24, Mindfold reached 100 pages. 340 more to go until the story is finished. WooHoo!

Just how far can I go with old recycled garbage images?

Getting a page finished in one week is a huge milestone for me these days. Repeating that achievement is something deserving of a little videogame trophy type thing XD
