“Used Books just turned 17 years old. It's almost a legal adult. Lol.
Crazy, right?
I didn't remember until it appeared on FB memories. So, I drew some really rough sketches on the inside back cover of a small notepad and took a picture with my phone.
I feel like I haven't drawn most of these characters in a long time. It was fun to try to draw from memory. I'm not sure all the chiralities are correct.
I was in grad school when I started Used Books and just 24 years old. I am now older than all the main UB characters. XD”

Molly Lusc Synopsis
This is the neo-noir story about Molly Lusc who is a bald, black, chain-smoking, mutant femme fatale with flippers, who blows bubbles eating soap and keeps getting herself into all sorts of trouble around her sinking swamp of a hometown of Port Hommerond. Like going through a bumpy marriage, solving mysteries as a private detective, bumping off thugs, pirates, cops, mutant monsters and supersharks alike, and rediscovering her lost origins.

Used Books at 17. Wow! It has to be right up there as one of the longest running comics on the Drunk D. I remember buying the books to catch up because there were so many pages when I first joined. Happy 17th birthday to UB.
