For people who like a twist, here it is. ^_^

Although the perspective is way off in panel 2, making Yuki look like an Amazon, I'm really happy with how she turned out. I love to draw Yuki's legs. I think this page shows her build well. She's not a scrawny person. ;-) This is the last page of this chapter, btw. The next chapter takes place on the same day, so it's a continuation of sorts – but no bank robbers.

I'm in a good mood at the moment. My sister is finally feeling comfortable enough to actually leave her apartment in Tokyo. (She said it was really beautiful the other day when it snowed.) I'm getting some applications out there for decent jobs (ones that acknowledge and use my degree!) and I finally got in contact with my graduate mentor about the paper I'm working on. I have to manage my time and efforts right now, so I haven't actually drawn any new pages of UB in about a week. (Don't fear. I still have loads of “buffer.” ;-) ) It feels really good to be busy and productive.

n_y_japlander: Not a good ending for Evan… Unless he likes Yuki sitting on him.

LanceDanger: Lucky for the robbers, they are in the hands of the law rather than Kaida. XD

Peipei: Glad I'm not the only one who struggles. I guess action is hard because no matter what, they are unmoving images. lol

Locoma: Kylie is a dynamic character, even if she is just a minor one. I had a lot of fun with her design. I wish I had an excuse to draw her more often.

amanda: Yes, that is a common theme, one of the big ones. There are very few clearcut “sides” here.

dueeast: Kaida is pretty perturbed to have her store disturbed like this. Attempting to contain Yuki was the true fatal mistake. (That girl cannot be held.)

trevoramueller: Serious wounds (and a little murder and mayhem) are important elements to my stories. Heh heh

JustNoPoint: I'm with you there… I have more time than money right now, but I hope to change that soon. I'll probably switch to weekday updates in the future (after I hit my one year mark).
