This plot strand hasn’t come into play much. There are a couple reasons for that. One is that Seiko deliberately avoids addressing her own “mysteries” by delving into the issues of her friends. (She is somewhat similar to Kaida in half wanting to know answers and half being afraid of what she might find.) The other is that she hit a dead end in her inquiries. Her last lead on her mother was Raidon, not exactly the master of honesty. Gibson, on the other hand, is a straight shooter (in every sense).
