I know this may seem like mafia thinking but what if ochi is mafia? I mean we should spare los or at least have the detective check out wether he's a vigilante or not first first? If ochi is mafia we can't feasibly have a coup vote because we need all but one of us to vote for it.

Evidence: In the previous 13 pages the word mafiosos is spoken only once, and it was by Hakoshen.
One thing… I'm not cheerful. Ever. So why would someone who's been telling everyone to calm down take off skipping?
The ripper is someone in a much better demeanor than myself, especially after getting not one single vote after all that work.
Also, it seems to me that the ripper accused his target of being naïve by suggesting they were wrong to wonder why something bad would happen in this town.
Who has said that this town is full of mafia in response to a statement like that? (I can't open another window in this blackberry so quotes and reading back pages is waay too hard.)

Actually, Ody, Mafioso is a member of the mafia, and mafiosos would be the plural.
So the ripper basically said “mafia members”, so I don't think it's referring to Hakoshen's use of the word.
Your gullas thing with the motto, is possibly on to something, but with only one clue, I don't think we can safely say Gullas is the killer.

I'm thinking Ochi IS mafia at this point, but that doesn't mean we should spare LoS. LoS is more likely the serial killer than one of the vigilantes, based on the context in the clues. The serial killer has every reason to kill the first night- the vigilantes, not so much.
The mayor can be lynched with a majority of votes, just like anyone else.
The rules aren't that hard guys. If you have questions you should ask humorman to clarify.

I'm thinking Ochi IS mafia at this point, but that doesn't mean we should spare LoS. LoS is more likely the serial killer than one of the vigilantes, based on the context in the clues. The serial killer has every reason to kill the first night- the vigilantes, not so much.

Saying Hakoshen is the ripper because he said mafioso is on the same league as saying that the ripper said “in”, so anyone who said in is a suspect.

Um…It has nothing to do with being a townie or not. He was pointing out clues. Humor did say he would use the context of our typing. Just because someone interprets the clues wrongly doesn't mean you should just automatically label them as mafia.
