I don't think we should pardon. Anyone who isn't protected by a bodyguard/movie fan should be considered expendable as they'll most likely be a monster anyways by the third night. This goes especially for veteran players and those who have a lot of experience playing the mafia side, cause they're the most desirable for the monster side and are likely to be turned sooner.

Also, we'll probably need those pardons later, when monsters will outnumber humes.

I don't think we should be killing townies so soon and I honestly believe Crocty isn't a monster. With a game like this we can't risk randomly killing people….atleast not yet.

ah, you got me there. I guess the pardons won't matter much late in the game. Still, in this mafia, a dead townie is not a bad thing. Just means one less monster down the line.

“IT'S HIM! I'M SURE OF IT!” someone screamed. An accusing finger was being pointed at crocty.
“But I don't like to eat people.” said Crocty, in defense.
“GASP! He eats people! That fiend!” the crowd exclaims.
“The whole sentence! Listen to the whole sentence! I said ‘don’t like'” screams Crocty as he's being dragged to the gallows.
People gather around, certain that they have capture one of the horrendous fiends that were plaguing their streets. But wait, don't monsters survive being hanged? Well I guess that the conventional method is not gonna work then.
“Oh good… does this mean that I can leave?” Asks Crocty.
“No” Barks Waff. “We must put him to the test of truth”
The mayor drags up a piece of garlic and rubs it all over Crocty's face. Great. This smell won't leave easily.
“First test passed. He is not a Vampire.”
Suddenly, he is poked and prodded with silver pokes. “Hey! Easy now. Wait! That doesn't go there!”
“Hmm.. no severe allergic reaction yet. Crocty is not a Werewolf.”
As annoying as this to Crocty, it still provides him with a sigh of relief “Well, at least I'm being cleared…”
Waff continues “Now for the test of fire!”
Crocty's pupils narrow: “Oh… I don't like where this is going.”
“Easy now!” Says TheFlyingGreenMonkey and grabs the torch wielding arm of the mayor. He looks innocent enough. I say we let him go.
There's a level of disappointment among the townies as they start to disperse.

Crocty has been pardoned.

A car door gets slammed and a taxi drives away. Nuclear_Hand has arrived from the tropics. In a cheesy Hawaiian shirt and with a partially overdone tan, he smiles and states: “Anything I missed?”

Meanwhile. Townies all over the place started to ponder. “Man. The situation in the town sure feels dire… but I have a feeling that it's supposed to be more serious.” No Townies! Bad Townies! This type of thinking could cause the… oh… to late. The fates have heard your pondering and are rewarding you with just that. After a short reworking of the time line, the role of one of the monster leaders has passed on to someone else.
