Hey, it didn't look “horribly executed” to me…. the layout and art is fantastic! Hilarious stuff, too.

I already read MAG-ISA so….

Brood Knight Classics: Wow, I had no idea you even had a second comic, I'm glad you just started so I don't have to read hundreds of pages to get caught up. Can't say much about this page except it's got me hooked already. Fav'd.

Illegal Aliens does awkwardness so well.

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates with a little intermission, still part of the main story of course - but rather than tagging it with Meanwhile, we decided to let people theorise a little on what's transpired.

Answers coming on Monday!

In Wyrden, regardless of what's going on, he still needs a good smacking. That's just my opinion. I put in my guess, but I'll let others theorize on their own.

Salt the Holy is constantly improving in artwork and storytelling, and while it does sometimes go outside the realm of my suspension of disbelief (and only because I was following it from the beginning, so a few things seemed a bit out of place when first introduced), it's become a rather enjoyable fantasy / adventure story. The artwork tag team of Amanda and Jess compliments each other well, and helps keep things unique and diverse, and the two constantly challenge each other to try new things and improve upon what's been done before - which I think has helped contribute to the improvements that I mentioned above.

I love this comic, and you should too!

Woooah trippy! The background on that page is absolutely fantastic! It's a departure from the “look” of the other pages and I think it's great. I hope you do more pages like that!

Starcrossed

Today's comic involves a coffin flying down the mist-filled streets. And if that doesn't get someone interested in it then I just give up. o.O;

Times Like These made me A Bit Confused today. Or was it yesterday. Or tomorrow. Oh well, time travel tends to do that to people ;) A matter of practice, I guess! It also made me realize I need to catch up with celeb news and latest gossip ;)

And Tom also beat me to commenting on Starcrossed (damn timetravelling cheater!). It's BEAUTIFUL! I checked a few pages - and the artwork looks both gorgeous and creepy. It's exactly the kind I like - drawn in a very realistic manner with a dream-like, ominous mood. I need to read this gem when I get a spare moment.

A Bit Cheesy updated today:

http://www.drunkduck.com/A_Bit_Cheesy/index.php?p=484577

The plot thickens and harsh words are spoken as Mick embarks on The Ultimate Mission To Get The Girl Already, Dammit! There's drama, there's… umm… ok, not so much action… There's pretty colors. And no photo manipulations whatsoever. 100% pencil+photoshop ;)

Geez, I wasn't familiar to Deadfingers… I think I'll suffer a little to check the archives with my dial-up internet right after the national holiday is over (dial-up in holidays is hell here)…

Inner Fear strikes back (even though I had to endure the internet hell) with another page. The dark figure seems to be oblivious to the suffering he's inflicting to the girl and only pays attention to his deal 'bout the gag… Gotta go and get myself some booze, see ya!

The 10th strip of Gelotology is up today. I came up with it at a science teachers conference this weekend, and it got a chuckle out of some of the people there, so it's a pre-tested joke. ;)

More fantastic lies in Used Books today as Raidon and Seiko continue to interview each other. Oh, and this is the page that my long-standing avatar was taken from.

usedbooks's (why does that sound like it should be said by Gollum?!) recently launched science-themed gag-strip Gelatology explores relativity today. Be warned - if you remember the moon landings, it might just make you feel old!

Meanwhile, over in usedbooks's (sorry - couldn't resist trying out that Gollumism again!) noirish crime drama Used Books, three characters of varying degrees of criminality get to know each other. Better.

Shades continues to prove that Superhero Comics can have a definite twist to them, this is not your ordinary hero comic and it has rapidly become one of my firm favourites. The latest update has some absolutely excellent dialogue and matching art that Alan Moore would be proud of.

Great work!

Ahh! The Chronicles of Wyrden. This looks like a book I need to check out more often.
A dark and mysterious cloaked figure and a very well drawn, very evil looking wolf descend on the town.
Great narrative and I dig the loose inking style.

SALT THE HOLLY used both vibrant colors and a juxtoposition of real-life photography with drawings to illustrate a tense moment of conflict.

THE CROSSOVERLORD, at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=484734 looks at some of the opposition, as the Smiling Man interacts with his aeons-old, Lovecraftian/Ring drowned girl-like allies, the pandimensional Sisters of the Twilight. This, plus a cameo of the GAMESTER from GENERAL PROTECTION FAULT at http://www.gpf-comics.com/.
