There are two things a lot of people assume about making comics using action figures: (i) it's easy; and (ii) the results are always awful. Well, as WWE The Comic proves - neither is true! Cleverly put together, this comic shows just how good the method can be.

In today's instalment we have a little gratuitous female exploitation. See - they can even be true to life!

Over in Shades, we're approaching the end of Chapter 12 now. And, since there are only 16 chapters in the whole comic, we thought it was probably about time we introduced one of our last two remaining characters. And so we have.

His name's Thrawn. And he looks like this:



A WW2 fighter pilot, a First Century warrior queen and a prehistoric shaman. Oh, and their tailor. These are not your common-or-garden heroes!

@Tantz - Oh my! There's a lot of tension there; kind of scary XD. Especially when she takes the weapon from her mother's hands. A lof of depth there with just pencil. :D

The camera work and the posing of the figures has really improved tremendously since its humble beginings.

Nice action! I love seeing the motion blur done with pencils instead of overused computer effects. It looks very convincing. I'm also impressed by the perspective in panel 1. Fantastic page, Hark!

In Used Books, Fudo rebels and then resigns himself. Looks like game over for a tired fugitive. In terms of art, I'm pretty pleased with how I drew the dog.

I like the focus on the most recent page - I can't recall the exact term for it, but the fuzzy foreground, sharp background thing. ^.^ That wasn't the page that was up when you posted, so in regards to the previous, I wonder what the announcement will be. Maybe it's Boogey's birthday, and the chairman bought him a cute lil puppy as a present?

Love the exterior shot of the house, great background work. It's a nice refresher, since the comic doesn't normally have a background, but it's good to at least use it in one panel to establish location.

CHRONICLES OF WYRDEN has Beautiful art (especially the semi-naked sorceress) and a wise decision to let the art tell the story. And happy 40th birthday and 14th wedding anniversary–I thought I was the only old fart here. (I'm 54 and been married 29 years.)

Used Books: I've seen you around my recent comic, and I've been telling myself now is the time I need to start regularly checking your comic. I've never gotten around to this of course, but I really wish I had. Used Books has evolved from the simple black and white blotchy looking comic it was two years ago. It has become a simply entertaining time consuming comic to develop. It's one of the longest running comics on this website and will no doubt continue as such for many more years.
