Conventional Wisdom just updated, and since I can only update that one every couple of months, it'd kind of a big deal to me. It's a big update, too: 17 PAGES!

Heh. Having been to several cons now, I find there is indeed a great deal of truth in Conventional Wisdom. I'm going to my ‘home con’ myself in a few weeks to give workshops.

Quest is a pretty interesting use of World of Warcraft images. I like the design of the title character, and the red captions attract the eye.

The panel layout has some solid storytelling elements to it. It's not bad, but I can't help but wonder what this tale would look like if the artist drew it themselves. (Something I always ponder about when reading comics like this)

….

Air Raid Robertson has a brand new page up today. Some caustic dialogue is exchanged before our title hero heads out on his next mission.

Contemporary Eclipse has a new page and I'm proud of it. I got the whole range of camera distances and a background and I like my artwork on the page. I also love my shadows ^_^

Contemporary Eclipse is not the subject matter I usually read, but it is a very well-done story with manga-inspired art, making good use of screen tones. The dialogue is very moody and intense. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you are looking for a deeper “mature” story and/or a fan of the manga style.

@Engine - now who could that voice be?

Anyway, nice action poses. It would have been better though if its colored.

Now here'e my updates:
Combatron

MAG-ISA
- Claudita is in alot of trouble.

MAG ISA: Oh, well, what can I say? That definitively hurts…
Combatron: Poor little green midget thingie… It seems that he's been having a hard time in making people respect him!

This time in Freakenburg, we get to see Kasumi's (and Grandpa Takeda's) favorite drink: Devil Buster 69. And by 69, I mean the percentage of alcohol in it… I've seen people use similar kinds of booze in real life as fuel, and it was actually better than regular ethanol (they add water in fuel stations, y'know)…

Gotta go now, see you next time!

I like that the character designs are very distinctive and well done. And the backgrounds are very well done when it comes to detail and setting the scene. Which is why I find it nice that instead of using said background, different patterns and textures are used. The line work is drawn well and I like the marker look on the dark shading.

Good job, bud!

@Freegurt - Oh wow! I think your artwork is very neat and impressive, especially the coloring. I really like the layout of that page; really works for what's going on. The emotion in the dialogue is also catchy because I can really imagine someone yelling that! XD

Honestly, great work. :D

You have a pretty good comic Nicotine, I love the film-noir feeling you get from it, it definately would not work in colour, black and white makes it much better. The sketches are good. And I was really impressed by the HTML, with the cursor changing to a rose, that was cool. I think you're making a good comic.

Out There is a relatively new comic and worth checking out. The story has yet to develop as the pages online so far constitute one long sequence zooming in on a single figure in the vastness of space; a slow, methodical building of atmosphere. (No pun intended!)

Meanwhile, back down here on Earth, three of the main protagonists in Shades have finally caught up with our principal bad guy, Bedlam.

Now that's bound to spell trouble for someone!

On Shades, we see a jetpack dude being attacked by a wizard's staff! It looks pretty intense. It seems I missed quite a lot with this comic.

Ladies and gentleman, I, today, had opened a brand new comic by the title of Marvin and Jessica and this is the cover art.

It's my return comic to Drunkduck and I would be glad to start with a small project and then to proceed to my original comics.

I hope, you'd enjoy this work.
Simon!

Enjoy… Las Vegas-y

@QUEST - nice character bio. As for the comic, it looks like an MMORPG or something. Some of the text are hard to read though. Text baloon vs text should be a very light to a very dark contrast. For example, the text should be black and the text baloon should be white.

Combatron
- We get to see Abodawn, Combatron's arch-nemesis.

MAG-ISA
- Demon kid can't just kill Claudita.

Crossing Death features a very nice looking cartoon style! I love the look of the characters, it looks like something you'd (used to, before cartoons got all stupid) see on Cartoon Network or early Saturday mornings. Also, dig the giant robot. Great work!

Gothenreich Chronicles is lookin' spiffy, and also very intense. I like the cross-hatching and the muted color palette.

Double update for me!

Misfit Assassins: Exciting craziness! Eve finds out about how – oh can't spoil the next page!

The Optimist: Contains possibly my favorite panel that I have ever drawn… and Zombie Saint Kazimieras?!!? (I thought this was a Serious comic?!?!) hehe. Kids, this is why you shouldn't fast for days and then run around!!

The Optimist: I think, if I were Kazimieras, I would have either cried or wet my pants. Maybe both. (Talking of the living Kazimieras, not the dead one. If I were the dead one, I'd have just rotted some.) Loved the vote incentive, by the way - that's a killer wig!

Misfit Assassins: My first visit to this comic! (I'm sorry! I'm sorry!) It's a completely different style than The Optimist, so first and foremost, I admire the range of your talent ^.^ And after reading the most recent two pages, I'm hooked!
