The SJW's are, ahem, up in arms because in the upcoming Wonder Woman movie she shaved her armpits.

But Amazons did shave their pits. It helped them use their bows. The slashing a boob is of course nonsense but shaving was practiced.

But no SJW has ever let history, let alone logic or rational thought, ever get in the way of a good cause.

This is probably one that's better to just ignore, honestly. I've seen a lot more (seriously, a LOT more) articles bashing the people who are upset over this than anything else, and the few I've seen supporting that position weren't all that militant about it. Wonder Woman is the most feminist superhero out there; at the end of the day I don't expect a lot of feminists to sit this one out regardless of whether they agree with Gal Gadot's grooming habits. You'll likely see more sincere protest from the racists who have a problem with her being Israeli.

So much agree with this. I hadn't even heard about the Wonder Woman armpit thing, but in general this culture of being offended and exaggerating the importance of little things diminishes the REAL version of those things, whether they be racism, sexism, or whatever.

I'd imagine it's a vocal minority, though. At least I hope so. How many people could really care that much about freakin' armpits in a superhero movie?
