Question for everybody. I reached the part in my comic where the protagonist is finally discovering the truth and lore that is built into the story. How do I give out this vast amount of information without readers dismissing it as a simple exposition dump?

Break it up by having small parts of the exposition backed up by an illustration or at least have the characters move around so it doesn't feel static.

Is that the only way? I'd rather have the truth/lore/mystery revealed tiny bit by tiny bit, as needed, than a tsunami of exposition I'm likely to skim over. Less is more. Maybe have someone say, “So this is…?” and someone else reply, “Yep.”

I stopped reading Moby Dick when he started describing every type of whale in the sea. Don't do that.
