They were refugees from Runne, a planet that died a millennia ago. An alien race unknown to the inhabitants of the Blue Planet, they slept in stasis upon the Red Moon, watching and waiting for peaceful colonization to begin. However, as they slumbered, a dark entity among them began to grow restless, reaching tendrils of ambition towards the young, living world. Still, even in the darkest of days, there are those who still shimmer.
