I like to hug trees.
I like to kiss their leaves.
Kids say I'm weird,
'Cause I grew a beard.

That's my best hippie poetry.
Love it!

I'm loving it - it's a love-in! %)

And McPeeper's right: this should totally be a thread devoted to deep nonsensical hippie poetry:

I dig hippie threads,
And groovy stoned heads.
There's some in my afghan,
Look out, it's the feds.

Er……..boo!

“hey everyone we're totally accepting of everyone who isn't a white heterosexual now”.
But really Obama is the first president to give so much respect to blacks and women, I mean in earnest, unlike many other white male presidents. He had a speech in new york earlier today and well over half the crowd was female/black. (lol even oprah winfrey was there)

There's a bit of contempt rising towards white heterosexual males in the country lately, any authority they used to hold just by being white/male is being flushed down the guilt toilet in stead of clogging it up.

I'd wait to see if it shows in his actions who he shows respect to, it'll be cool if he keeps to it, I'd hope he shows respect to everyone, he is working for them.
I thought there's always been contempt towards straight white guys or “the man” I don't think that's new, it would only be different if they started losing the power they hold over america and while they hold the cash chances are they'll still have a lot of the power, that always pisses people off
theres this girl i know, she's a lovely person and all, but she's absolutely obsessed with me… she speaks to me on msn every day and says she loves me and wants to be with me forever, all that shit, theres just one problam…
she's my cousin
and i dunno what to do… she's 100% serious
apparently (according to my mother) she spoke to my mother and asked if it was okay… my mum then proceeded to come in and say “go for it”

I ride my bike, ‘cause I hate to drive.
I like to listen to poetry live.
I hate named brands like Pepsi and Coke.
Can you hand me the bong? I’d like a toke.

Those tools all need to mellow out.
We should all get baked on the old brown couch.
And when when there's nothing left in our heads,
We'll sing along to Grateful Dead.

What shall we do at TD?
We could read some crappy poetry.
It won't really matter, we'll all be smashed.

I'll help. ;)

Dieting still doesn't work, and I still can't find a job! On the bright side, I'm joining the Y to do water aerobics several times a week with my mom. (She has a doctor's order, and I promised to be her support.) I'm also starting to volunteer at our local museum. It's not actually “employment,” but it might help remove some of this feeling of uselessness and boredom I have.

So we found this baby hedgehog, and it's too light to hibernate. D:
So for a week or two, we're feeding it until it's heavy enough to hibernate, then we're putting it in the garage for it to hibernate. :3

It eats loudly. D:
I mean, I can hear it through a door, nomming and smacking it's lips.
Cheeky little bliter.

Ok, I just completely went ‘dawww’

That's so adorable. x3

Whoooa…

If I were you, I'd hide a piece of paper saying “Get out of my room, mom, you slag! ):”

Then she couldn't tell you off. >: She shouldn't have been in your room.
I'm not really around much anymore, but here's my Tumblr, Twitter, and Deviantart. Also if you remember me from back when I was around, I'm sorry.

Mom and I found two very large black widow spiders today. One on our screen porch and one in the window of the guest room. So, um, I don't know what to think about that.

Also, unrelated (far as I know), but two of my pet rat's day-old babies died. Three of the remaining ones are much smaller than their siblings, so I'm worried they'll die too. (Even though their mom is taking good care of all of them.) :( I've been trying to breed this rat since July, so it's especially tough to finally have a litter but lose them.

Ick. You know the females (pretty sure the ones with the red hourglass shape on their back) is like, one of THE most dangerous spiders in the world?

Can't remember if it's poisonous or venomous.

I shall look it up…

Venomous.
They bite.
Oh damn.

Gah I got a speeding ticket, for speeding. The cop was really nice tho and I could feel his pity. Anyhow he let me off with a ‘wasting fuel’ ticket, which is $35 and doesn't go on my record, as apposed to the $125 he could have given me @_@

Mom told me I should only go 5 miles over the speed limit as opposed to 15. A lesson learned is a lesson earned~

It's still considered legal to drive 16 kilometres (10 miles) over the speed limit. Any more is asking for it.
Although, in Canada, it is an unwritten rule that you can go 120 km/h instead of 100km/h on the highway without getting a ticket, as long as you're in the left lane. I don't know what kind of rules you have in America though.

Nah, nothing like that cos I don't get hassled by cops. THIS IS NOT A RANT ABOUT SKULLBIE PEOPLE IT IS ABOUT BAD DRIVERS I KNOW OK? –>I just know enough dickheads that speed like around like there's something wrong with people that aren't speeding around like them, while i'm in the rant thread it bugs me when people think “phew, I got off ok” cos they didn't get busted down when speeding or driving like a general dickhead, I've never seen someone take it easy after that kind of thing it's always “phew close one”

Speeding is bad, yeah, and bad driving sucks. But she got stopped, fined, , and it made her think. I see no reason to make a thing about it. Skull has had her penance.

it didnt really need your input
I think he meant dragging it out more then need be.. and ‘bad cop’ was just a joke. I didn't think you'd take it seriously- ah well misunderstandings are hopefully cleared up now. :P

(obligatory shoved in rant) I am so amazed by Laura Martin's coloring style yet so damn jealous at the same time. And the coloring is really such a huge part of the American comics yet people hardly ever think about the person behind it. I know pencil is the structure but a good colorist it what brings it to life.
