Nene:*looks around what appeasr to be some sort of office* there he is. and with Jasmine. huh… wonder what's going on there?

*Pico just shrugs*
Pico:Jasmine has been working a bit lately maybe its a new job.come on lets see whats up.*they then walked up to them*

MB: really are you sure?
Jasmine:…I am.
MB: well then, at least we know what our next priority here is. *looks over to the side* Oh pico, Nene how goes the Hunt?

Pico:very well you,d be happy to know that Steven is on thfe 7th floor…recovering from surgery.

MB: ah good good…did you learn anything from him?

Pico:we uh…were not able to the guy was resting after all.

MB: did anyone tell you that?
Nene: well no, we jusst presumed that-
MB: exactly. you just guessed. its an honest mistake and I don't blame you. now please if you could, I need those answers.

Pico:alright alright…we,ll be back in 5 minutes 10 if Steven talks to much.*they then teleported back to the clinic frightening the receptionist*

Derick: what the heck?!(that isn't any magic I've seen before.)

Jasmine: anyway that's all that's happenened so far.
MB: I see. well if what you say is true. we're going to need to get Doc up soon. I don't think we can do any surgery without him.

Pico:uh sorry about that im still getting used to this thing*points at the device attached to his wrist*anyway is it possible for us to visit Steven today?

Derick: oh, him? yeha its fine. he's awake and everything. Down the hall. make 2 rights and a left.

Nene:thank you*they then followed the instructions and were at a open door*
Pico:(may as well knock…)*KNOCK! KNOCK!*
Steven:i wasn't expecting visitors please come in.

Nene:*opens the door ans sees a man with bandaged hands* um wow what happened there?
Steven: I'll that's a story I don't want to talk about.
Nene: I see. So you supposed to be a legend here or something, right?
Steven: if you count fighting nothing but 10 Zombie wyverns with nith nothing but my bare hands yes.
Nene: wow. that sounds impressive. …Hey is it also true you got teared a new one by Claire's Nachzehrer?
Steven:…let's change the subject shall we? what do you guys want?

Pico:i want to know what happened earlier and what was stolen. was it a scroll? a valuable textbook? throw me a bone here.

Steven: well, if you must know it was a scroll of utter importance. one that is dare I say, almost as old as time. its part of a set, really
Nene: how did they get there?
Steven: hell if I know, I presume someone brought them in from somewhere.

*Pico had a notepad and pen ready and started to write it down*
Pico:a…important scroll…ok.

Steven: anyway, the scrolls are basicly indistructable thanks to the mages who made them. I was able to save them…except the one that was stolen.
Nene: what did it do exactly?
Steven: well if you must know its basicly restores the user back to a time in his life when theywere yoing and healthy. there's also something about immortality in there maybe but that part is always a bit hazy.
Nene: what do you mean hazy?
Steven: its complicated…
Nene: So that's what that old creepy dude used?
Steven: he used it?
Nene: yeha.
Steven: that can't be right…

Pico:*Pico raised a eyebrow* why not?

Steven: well the ritual it self is a danger beyond all dangers. even if you had time to translate the scroll from its dead language, grab the correct materials, and head to where ever it guides you it still takes roughly 4-6 weeks to set it all up, and have the proper mages say the enchantments needed to activate the rutual circle(pending on lunch and Dinner Breaks) and need to be mentally preapred to have your will and sanity tested and your body strengthend forged for the oncoming trials. If all goes well you walk out at your best, with no problems.
Nene:…I know I shouldn't ask but what happens if it doesn't?
Steven:ho, well it can be a various amount of things, ranging from hallucenations of the long dead monsters/sins from their past, that I have heard can actually kill you and drag you to hell, to having your soul set aflame, and your body forever contorting and twisting while being jabbed with various things on the inside until it decides to let you collapse wrything in agony, letting you pass out and feel relif for only but a second before it begins to do so again for all eternity.

Nene: so what does it mean, if he did it in 3-4 days?
Steven: 2 things. he either A. had everything set up in advanced(though I highly doubt it) or B. and this is the more palusable situation it wasn't done purely with magic meaning its a “False Magic Ritual”.

Pico:so like a illusion spell but more realistic…clever

Steven: not even close, but good try. Basicly a false magic ritual is when the Ritual is not done as fortold. Think of it like taking the warp whistle in that Mario Bros game. its rushed, skips a lot of steps, and gets you there faster.
Nene: so its real? what we saw?
Steven: yes, but there are concequences for rushing such actions…especially if it was done through technomancy?
Nene: technomancy?
Steven: wizards that try to combine tech with magic… it uh, never ends well for them no matter how powerful they say it is.

Nene:Are you saying that's how it was done?
Steven: I'm not one to rule it out…at least not yet.

*Pico starts to write the information down*Pico:(huh i wonder if using my buster and aura at the same time is the same thing or just a cheap imitation)

Steven: anyway that's all I can give you right now. If I was there when he casted it, I would know more.

Pico:thanks for the informatiion we,ll make sure you will get back to resting.seeya around*he then pushed a few buttons on his portal device*(i swear Morphblade better not of left a huge energy trail again.)*they then teleported*

*as they got there they saw morphblade alone reading something*

*Pico took out his notepad and ripped a few pages*

MB:*takes the notes and reads them* interesting. he said he had the rest…can he bring them out?
Nene: his hands were reattached and are still recovering.

Nene: shouldn't we be asking that?
